if you have multiple usb devices, can consider a dedicated charger
e.g. anker [recently launched new 6-port charger] or thecoopidea

Slightly faster processor but less RAM. Taking one step forward and then one step back.

But after my experience with this Redmi Note 4G, I probably wouldn't buy a Xiaomi device again. Maybe the Mi Note Pro if they bring it here. That's the only Xiaomi device that interests me now. But if the software situation is the same as on my Redmi Note...

if that's the new redmi note specs, its truely disappointing.
and 410? why not at least a 615... makes more sense, jumping back to 1gb also is.. lousy.

Let's not forget the current software situation.. still no v6 in sight.

mi note seems good, will see first...software wise too.
dun think will get another xiaomi if they cannot fulfill their software side.

I put my 10 fingers on the screen and it is able to detect them all. What do you want this info for?

are the idiots at xiaomi still wasting time on 4.2.2 ?

pathetic sia

I got a feeling that we will stuck at 4.2.2 for quite sometimes... All their new devices no longer use MTK, so 4.4 will be the last (if it ever come out of the beta version). Don't bother hoping for 5.x for this MTK version...

lollibug would not be a priority given the fact mtk devices seldom have that, the thing is you cant even f using their xiaomi band for instance cos kitkat is needed. Even the lousiest chinaphone nowadays have kitkat cmon..

Adding injury to the situation, 4 months to correct a bunch of bugfixes leaving out a lot of major ones; missing promised deadlines by months..they lost their sh|t man..they wanted to make a big leap and punch above their weight but they are simply failing bad

Most likely around March when MIUI6 with 4.4 for Redmi Note 3G, but possibly will be beta testing for CN users. Global ROM users have to wait for an even longer time then..

One reason why Xiaomi don't use MTK chips and switching to Qualcomm in their current phones is to prevent patent infringement issues. One example will be the current Ericsson patent issue that Xiaomi is facing in India.
