Yes the Xiaomi may be triband and have a faster CPU. But at S$399, it becomes not as competitive as the China version.

Yes, huge mark up. I would says no offer no buy.
Why would anyone spend 399 on a China router when able to get cheaper router from reputable router brands like Asus with more frequent updates?

For those who want cheaper options, probably TP-Link XTR10280 is another option. But the CPU is much weaker (IPQ5000 series dual core 1GHz, similar to the one in Xiaomi AX6000).

You may have to wait for a while when the OTA version is available.

Right now it is said 3.0.33 is the initial release version of global FW and not available for download yet.
