Helloo

Anyone know how to bind my phone number to my xiaomi account? I registered for a xiaomi account prior to my xiaomi phone purchase.

During the phone set up, it failed to bind my number. now it keeps telling me my phone number is binded to another account.

once u re-con or contract end, ur 4g will be charged.. so no point sticking to 4g...

Currently only applicable to Starhub (still, they give first three months free). Guess M1 will follow by end of the year. Singtel is the only one has not make the announcement.

Even you do not have a 4G plan. That does not means you cannot get a 4G phone if the price is right. In fact take a example of Redmi note at current price of $199. In the next few months when Redmi note 4G is out, base on HWzone the price is going to be less then $200. So why not ?

I'm one of the 1st batch who bought the Redmi when it was just offered in Singapore. About a week ago, I keep receiving calls from China (+8613559101686 and +8613705054902), about a total of 10+ calls over 2 days. They were looking for someone with a Chinese name that's quite similar to mine. I kept telling them that no such person but they kept calling all the same.

Anyone else having the same experience?

No but I'm using mi3.

I always believe that some people (could be hired by competitors) were trying to make rumours to defame Xiaomi because Xiaomi is selling mobile phones at near cost price and therefore Xiaomi becomes the public enemy of other brands

not just Xiaomi, every app in your phone will collect your informations and send back to company's server. Microsoft Windows, iPhones, Google, Facebook... everything that connected to the Internet, DO collect your data.

if you REALLY concern about privacy, you should not access the Internet at all.

I don't see there's an issue with Xiaomi.

This guy speaks the truth. Everyone is out there collecting your data. You want "privacy", just live in a secluded farm somewhere out there. :s22::s22: I don't even see why you should be concerned anyway. You're a nobody. Your google searches have probably been archived for the past 10 years, god knows what you've been searching. ;)

Access with permission and without is a big different.
Anyway they released a new firmware and patch up their server.
This show that how irresponsible of Xiaomi. First they say no, subsequently they say yes and agreed to patch up.

tap the phone icon on your phone, inside the dial pad > press the menu button > Settings

Under Phone > Call Settings > Call Forwarding > Choose your number/line > choose Forward when unreachable

Want to buy the powerbank. Look at sg website sold-out

They don't sell throughout the week but only during their weekly sales. The next sale is 9 Sept (Tuesday) at 12pm. Just make sure you log in before 12pm so you can add it to your cart and pay for it.

On other times, it will just reflect OOS.
