Just my comment after using few month, quality really have issues:
1) wifi display to tv sucks. When connected , wifi network cant be access which make streaming movie not possible. Samsung can do it otherwise.
2) use a few month, after doing a firmware update, sd card spoil which mi singapore claim update not root cause.
3)after a day of update, internal speaker spoil, cant hear the other party while calling.
4) loose charging port. I cant use my phone while charging, have to mantain it at certain angle if not will lose charge.

1) i've never used this before, can't comment
2) really? why would a firmware update spoil your sd card?
3) what firmware did you update to? why is it causing hardware damage? i've encountered no such issue, and i've gone from 25 to 27 to 28 to 29 to 30 to 36 to 37
4) are you using the stock cable? i have the same issue with an old samsung cable of mine, but the moment i changed to the stock cable and an old HTC, it fits snugly

Last of all, where did you buy your redmi note? did you get it off the official website?

Xiaomi Note 4G is approved on IDA website.

MiBox too.

Mi Router w 1TB storage too.

phone can launch quite fast but for mibox and router think not so soon. IDA approved but still got China side to settle especially on the copy right content. Router from China come with free 1 yr membership xunlei don't think China garment will allow singapore user to access xunlei free.

Just purchased a redmi note recently.
Discovered an irritating problem. I can't seem to have 3g internet access at home. Outside works fine. My other phones dun have such problem. Anyone knows whats the issue here? The only thing i did not do is to insert my sim card into the xiaomi's provided sim card holders given. I just insert it directly into the slot.

No. It comes in the package. Those holders that u insert ur sim card into, then insert the holders into the sim card slot.

Wifi is no problem. At home i have to turn on wifi in order to have data. I can't use 3g at home. Duno if its phone problem or starhub problem. But it doesn't happen on my other phones
