You can try your luck every tuesday at 12PM and grab one if you are lucky. But depending on how long you stay there. Because it might take a week for them to ship out to you.

If not, you can get it from Taobao but at about $500. Seller take about 2-3 days to reach my forwarder, so you might wanna consider this option. Just search for the seller with the highest sales vol. I got my MI3 from them.

I guess they are releasing their Hongmi in SG first. Similiar approach to Taiwan. If you are talking about MI3, i think have to wait till your neck long long.

I lazy to wait, so just paid $120 more in taobao to get it ship over. Very please with this phone.

this, together with Oppo are good efforts by China to up the game.....I too, am very pleased with the Xiaomi, I hope to get the 64G version when it become available....and yes.....international rom too.
Currently......it's skewed towards domestic china market usage thus.....u do not get the full function of google play.
also, somehow the hardware/software needs better refinement.
I notice some 'nicks and nacks' once in a while.
the common one is that it exits programs suddenly.......:(

So far the only problem is the camera (too dark) and the LED indicator which is still ON after i plug out the charging cable(Happen at times only)

Other than these 2, no complain.

Hongmi is a no contract phone (空机)

Better than all the prepaid phones sold in singpost

Another tip, better to do that only when a new iphone is released. The profit will be even greater (I made enough to cover the full cost of 24mths subscription)
