just scroll down the list and see what apps you don't need. but if you only need Google components just for sync, disable play movies/books/music/games.

unlike Samsung ,HTC and LG, Sony does not have stock browser.
chrome consumes alot of battery, makes the phone warm too.

recommend you UC mini browser.lower RAM usage like average 50MB. supports left right swipe without loading the page again.

try not to use the standalone Facebook app as it really consumes so much of battery due to the pulling of notifications.

just surf Facebook via the browser.

One more thing, how to make the soft key auto hide so that I have the full screen? Sony should have use x10 chip. A bit laggy but the screen is good.

they use the X10 chip on the smaller M5 but that phone has the 'sleeping beauty' issue, which it switched off by itself and can only switch it back on when plugged to a charger.

Sent from my Rice phone using GAGT

Nevermind the charging cannot reach 100%.

The battery will easily be spoiled with frequent full charge and discharge.
It is better to recharge frequently between 40% - 80% for long term usage.

Oh.. u mean we should start charging a phone when the batt is down to as low as 40%.. and should charge it until the batt is up to 80% full?

any user of this phone can comment - how is the call quality. Saw in some reviews that call quality (voice) not that good and it also sometimes just froze until need to restart with long press of power button.
Anyone face such issue ?

The voice quality from the phone is indeed not the best among the other phones I have used before. The voice can sound a little muffled, but I would say it is far from bad enough that you would have problems trying to make out the words from the other party.

Haven't faced much freezing issues in my 4months with the phone, but had experienced the phone self-restarting twice before. Phone probably did crash for aforementioned cases.
