Do you think its enough? Actually wanted to change $3600 for 2pax - personal expenses only. But my friends told me that we are bringing alot, so we reduce to $2800 instead.

Hotel expenses are separate.

Btw, yday went Arcade after work ard 620pm. So sad the best rate is only 15.82 while Mustafa is 15.70. Didnt change any in the end.

my husband and I are not big spenders so should be enough for us. Most of $ will prob be spent on food and transport. Actually, we estimate a total of S$4500 for everything, including accom.

the rates in arcade might drop 2day? mustafa is still showing 15.72

I will be going alone for holiday in Tokyo alone for 6 days holiday, I am planning to bring around 60000 Yen which includes the hotel stay as it has already been paid for. Do you think this is enough for me as I am prepared to spend less and venture there alone without any tour and cheaper food ?

oh, anyway, the $560 is for unpaid accoms. Some of the days were settled over the internet reservation liao.

I changed last week at about $15.90. Waiting for the next big drop to at least sub $15 to $14.80 before I change.

dont think so.

inclusive of hotel stay ? or excludes the hotel stay.

really depends on what ya wanna see, do and spend on. really really depends. i'd suggest packing at least 20-30k yen for emergency/not to be touched emergency stash on top of whatever u plan to spend per day.

just in case you need it for some emergency or something. if not can blow it all on the last couple of days

i reckon the yen would still continue to fall for the next few months with some fluctuations. analysing the USD to JPY rate, it's going to hit 100 soon and I don't see it rising anytime so those travelling late will be quite happy to see it rise. sub 15 is quite possible within a few months

Hee.. I will be going to Tokyo, Kyoto and Saitama. Tokyo for shopping and Dolpa (doll show). Kyoto to walk around and see temple, Saitama to see shibazakura.
