my goodness.. 15.37.

must be MAS meddling around with the SGD. i think the weakening and allowing the SGD to shift to a weaker band has begun.

The yen rate is really schizophrenic isn't it?

it usually does. but still. 15.37 is NOT a good way to start the week :D

not just schizo. its maniacal.

i went to tokyo in early apr. I checked the cc bill recently.

i was surprised Visa gave me a rate of 15.2 and 15.4 at that time when the rate was like between 15.6-8. It was cheaper to use cc than to use cash!!!

early april the rates were alraedy down to about 15.2. it also depends on when the transaction was processed... maybe the day ur transaction was processed, the rate happen to be very low (it dropped to 14.9 a few weeks back)

it did? did it drop to the level that was predicted earlier?

but it was down ard 14.9 according to some of the bros here who changed during that period

tat one call predict meh :( no source... anyone also can say for fun:s22:

curious mah. since he said until so sure and so offended when kena ask wad he base his prediction on. :s22:

i changed at 14.97 :o

kinda regret though. changed 40k yen only. should have changed at least 2k SGD

ok. i dont get to keep track of rate when im already in tokyo but in any case, the rate they offered are quite reasonable..comparable to money changer. :)

this week is a bad week. really bad week.

15.45 now. at the rate its going, at the end of the week it'd be back at 16. wtf.

changed half of the actual amount this evening at chinatown at 15.34

Dont worry, considering a few weeks back it was like 16...... we changed at 15.48 a few weeks back.
