Bloody credit card company uses exchange rate of 1.61 for my recent trip, where the rate was moving between 1.54 to 1.56 during that period. Better bring more cash and use less plastic.

there is an admin charge of 2-4% on credit card, depending on the bank. u need to call up ur bank to find out wat this their admin charge, coz it is not reflected in ur sstatement

I just called HIS today and they quoted me $451 and that's after 5% discount!

JTB has a discount for AMEX, quoted me $426 when I called. Usual price is $448.
