Yes can. apay or gpay can.

youtrip end ready doesn't necessarily mean taipei subway end is ready. anyway better be prepared. pls share the outcome

Tried and managed to withdraw NT$500 from Cathay ATM

I am keen to know as I will leave for tw next month and I have add youtrip to my applepay. Would be good i can use my applepay youtrip on the metro or subway.

Err... I think can use card for airport metro line only. I used it before. Taipei mrt dun accept cards yet. Prepare to buy an easy card.

if u travel alot on taipei MRT can consider their MRT pass 24h, 48h, 72h. 72h only $15.35 from klook, only $5/day. round trip tms to tamsui already costs $4

if u want to take taipei bus, get the funpass transportation which includes bus to yangmingshan, jiufen, shifen.

many options if u explore further. so stop worrying about card not able to use for transportation in Taipei

Thanks for the reply. That would be good enough for me to use my youtrip on my iPhone to catch an mrt from Kaoshiong airport to the main station next month, my arrival will be late evening.
Will get an easy card the following day in Kaoshiong.

My coming trip won’t cover many days in Taipei, will consider to get 24hr pass if possible. Thanks anyway.

u can also buy MRT token with cards from ticketing machines. enjoy your holidays!

If I have SGD 200 in my youtrip account. I bring the physical youtrip card to these ATM machines, I can withdraw NTD without any bank charges or misc?

Only selected banks' atm. Eg megabank. Please check the older posts. Many have shared already.

Tried the physical card only and since it didn't work, I doubt the contactless too
