Ok thanks. I’d gob find out more. But if rebate capped at $20, then only can spend $1k. Anything more no rebates.
Yes anything more no rebate, but then if FX free and exchange same or better than youtrip, then why not?
so here asking who compared their exchange rate before. Or can just take the app exchange rate as ref.
As youtrip exchange rate, can just go in the app and try to exchange sgd to xxx , it will show. And youtrip no need change to fcy before spending, not sure if dbs one is the same

Yt and Revolut will show the rates when trying to exchange. DBS and Revolut don’t.

I got multiplier acct. i can try to convert sgd to other currency, and it indicate the rates.
But now is not sure if it will use the rate indicated , when u swipe. And also if need to change sgd to that fcy then u can swipe.

Its on dbs website, nv state by invite only. U can go see, just need to link the card to your acct.
2% is capped at $20. But if the fcy rate overall better,
Than why not!
min. spend $500 for 2% Foreign currency transactions**

*Foreign currency transactions include both offline and online transactions. It excludes foreign
currency transactions charge through Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC).

Too complicated for me tbh.

Anyone used perks on YT b4? I used it once for hotel booking on booking.com, didn't really see any cash credits on my booking.com wallet. Yesterday used it on Lazada, supposed to have 3% cashback 45days later, dunno real or not.

I’ve read the conditions, need to exchange first else extra 3%+ charges incurred. No point. Correct me if I am wrong.

Usually the sites may not give u good rates. Eg is shopback. The rates r usually higher when using shopback. You can compare them with 2 browsers, one in private mode, and compare if you're getting a good deal or not.

Never exchange first is charged DCC fees in my post above.
I guess for those ‘not supported’ currencies, dont bother with dbs debit visa la.

simplicity is the best.
Not only YT, many other debit cards with focus on foreign currencies like revolut, wise, ichange, trust etc are good choices.

Ohh yea. no point then.
since youtrip now can just deposit $ in , no need to exchange. and withdraw it back to bank after the trip

I was almost tripped over by the enhanced 6 digit pass code implementation of this Youtrip Card.
Tried draw Cash in JB, but was rejected, Because the pass code was wrong.

U mean from 4 to 6 digits? Quite straight forward isn't it?
