My stats over the years:
This year not bad.
19% total networth growth.
12% growth if I exclude new salary savings.
I have managed to save 75k each this year and last year thanks to no travel and WFH.
Next year if markets keep chugging along like this hopefully can hit 1.5m.
200k more to go, if markets crash could easily lose 100k

Figures in SGD '000

I am also down about 2% from the peak because I am only 40% equities.
@homer123 also has lot of bonds and cash which cushioned the drawdown.

10 years to become a millionaire. Impressive!

How did you have 65k inflow in 2010 when your net worth is 87k? I am at around 80k nw as well but my pay is only 60k gross (48k net) and I can only invest $1600 x 12 = 19k in 2022

Only 1.41%? I think at least 5% of mine.
I almost retire..so I have been trying to derisk my portfolio since last year.. I have been spare the blunt of carnage in Mar and Nov. However, I also missed the runup since last year.

Retiring early? I thought you are around 45 or below?

I'm reminded by this thread that I need to take a snapshot of my google sheet so that I know roughly what is my current investment portfolio value before the markets reopen on 3 Jan, and then compare to Dec 2022 value to know how much my NW has grown.

Unfortunately, Google finance all the HK ETFs have disappeared 2800, 2801 etc..... not just from google sheets but from Google finance itself... so I don't have a total value at the moment.

In the meantime, I've only tracked dividend growth which I've posted elsewhere, just repost here for completeness...

Do you guys include CPF when calculating networth?
For sure in order to get a full picture so you know when to stop working. :) Just put it under separate category (like in a balance sheet) as a fellow poster suggested. :)
