There are some of us (myself included) who registered on 17/3 and stop haven't taken delivery of the Sim card yet.

Just got the email this morning though that my sim card is finally coming on 16/4. Account no. 30002XXX as well.

i registered on 26 march and got the sim on 5 apr. $19 plan.

After 3gb it's as good as being disconnected.. Phone would show no data most of the time.. Even WhatsApp msg can't send/receive.. At least other telco have the option to top up or just pay for excess usage..

Just a PSA for those who think that "managed network speeds" should be at least usable..

guess only u bah... i can stream youtube all day long after the 3GB. Now dun have to worry about bursting data. haha..

We are unable to proceed to port- in your mobile number (9XXXXXXX) to zero1.

Please confirm the mobile number and existing operator.

The following are the checklist before you request for transfer of your mobile number to Zero1 network:

· Your number is a post-paid number with your existing telco

· Your number is registered under your NRIC/ID with your existing telco

· Your number is not inactive/suspended with your existing telco

· There is no outstanding balance with your existing telco

· Your number is no longer under contract with your existing telco

We look forward to your reply soon.
Thanks!

Yours Sincerely,
Zero1 Team

Received the sim card on 28 Mar & today gotten the above.
The number was under ST & was the 12GB plan long time ago..
Monthly bill was charged to my credit card.
What could be the reason?

why no longer under contract cannot port in...?? or it meant to say "your number is under contract with your existing telco" ...?? :s11::s11::s11:

Why not share here so ppl who faced the same prob can benefit?

Sent from iPhone Xs Plus 1TB using GAGT

because some kids like to call names here .. like "prata" some stupid dumb words....

Anyway I had some help from renfred89 and twosix is also aware of the method too..
(i dont guarantee it works for you but it does for me)
My phone Samsung S9+, XSP non telco set if it does matter...

Issues i am still not sure is related to Oreo or zero.1 anyway this is the work around.
1. Remove wireless@sg program
2. go to your wireless setting > delete "wireless@sgx" if you have it.
3. At the hotspot turn on your wifi and detect the network "wireless@sgx" click connect (i know it wont connect)
4. select wireless@sgx SSID, select "modify network config".
5.Select EAP method to "SIM" and save.
6. Then my connection got connected....

Note: you dont have to use wireless@sg app to connect. That's it.

Eh,

Did anyone get charged 29.90 on the spot? I just sign up but there is a immediate charge of 29.90 on my card. Or zero1 is a prepaid plan???

They will charge you on the spot, but only start the billing cycle on receiving the Sim card.

It’s been 20+ days and I’ve still not received the SIM card for my dad.
Understand that they may be overwhelmed but are seriously ignoring all email?

I hope they don’t bill me again for a subscription charge when I’ve not even started using it yet.

Circle life or zero1?wats pros n cons

As a zero1 subscriber,

Pro:
Cheap
Decent 4g speed for the first 3gb
The speed after 1st 3gb is ok for watsapp, videotube (360p) and most apps
Unlimited data
Reasonable island coverage

Con:
Customer service non existent
The speed after 1st 3gb is terrible for downloading, picture/large data intensive apps

Circle line I dunno, best to ask those who are their cusyomers

Maybe can try emailing to orderprocessing@zero1.sg to ask? I got an email from this address when there got in touch with me as I submitted the wrong ic copy. Or check your spam box to see if they have asked you to submit some documents but it went there.

Circle life or zero1?wats pros n cons
Circles life no SMS included this one has. And if u travel alot on NEL the signal on zero1 is not perfect but it is significantly better than circles. And it's with unlimited data although it's throttled after first 3gb...

Best to take it as a 3GB plan with the safeguard that you can exceed it occassionally and still continue to do basic stuff. If you are those who finish 3gb in one day then this is probably not the best plan for you.

Yeah, this plan is mainly for people who finish 3gb data for 3/4 of a month. Can rely on the managed speed for the remaining 1/4 month.

Bought their plan on 16 March. Till now still no news of delivery. Faint.

Just canceled my line.

First 3gb is 15mb/s, after 3gb is 100+kb/s
This is not just "managed", this is a throttle of about 10000% slower

120+kb/s is a joke. I understand that we're paying a low price. But this speed means that you'd have to wait for 5secs+ to simply download a picture in whatsapp/telegram. Wait for 15secs+ just for a simple web page to load.

I'm sure students/those who don't use much data can live with it.

For those who use alot of data, I'd recommend to just skip this directly. The fact that you use alot of data probably means you'd require a much faster speed to avoid this kind of frustration.

Used up 3gb. Tried surfing FB no problem at all. Stream movie from FB also no problem. 360p. Have not tired YouTube yet but I guess will not have problems.

Edit :
Tried YouTube at 480p. Smooth and no lag so far.
