The app will log you into Wireless@SGx network which is more secure as it uses industry-based authentication and security standards (i.e. IEEE 802.1x and Wi-Fi Alliance), and data sent over Wireless@SGx network is encrypted.

I am sure the government ensure this before giving to the public

What the govt takes from you using their network is the question.....

Started using the zero1 SIM on Monday.

4G speeds within a minute of putting the SIM in the phone.

Phone says Zero1, and not Singtel.

And overall, no problem since.

Would be nice though to have an app or some way of checking usage - data, minutes, and text. Is there one?

Background: Not porting in from anywhere. I got the SIM primarily because I heard that zero1 will have some pretty sweet international roaming plans in the future. I could do with those!

Go zero1 website read. Not the faq but the new one say port in one. There put can transfer of owner ship.

that's referring to transfer of mobile number ownership for number porting, no?

Ya loh base on that as long you willing to port your number and even both account are different owner you can transfer ownership. Mean can transfer loh. If pure transfer cannot. If you really want the account so much than why not port over. Anyone here can post the pic here. Maybe i misunderstood the sentence.

Did a speed test... 1mb..
So far i didn't encounter any issues watching singtel go n Netflix..

Anyone with an android phone with the speed counter on the notification bar help with a test?

Just to verify whether they throttle per app basis (eg. spotify, youtube, netflix) have a higher speed cap vs normal browsing and other apps.

Test by view the speed on the notification bar when doing a speedtest, loading a media heavy websites, and spotify or youtube or netflix.

Only those who had exceeded the 3GB quota.
