Anyone with an android phone with the speed counter on the notification bar help with a test?

Just to verify whether they throttle per app basis (eg. spotify, youtube, netflix) have a higher speed cap vs normal browsing and other apps.

Test by view the speed on the notification bar when doing a speedtest, loading a media heavy websites, and spotify or youtube or netflix.

Only those who had exceeded the 3GB quota.

what is the name of this app? Could you suggest a few?

This one means if person A (eg. son) now with zero1 with a new number, can transfer his original number (eg. Son number) under person B (mum) from starhub to zero1 but under person A name.

Cannot transfer the plan to person B (aka selling plan)

transfer of ownership (of the number) is from B to A, not A to B

Thts my understanding, correct if i am wrong

i hope i am wrong so i can buy a $19 plan :(

Mine is same. 150-200 kb/s limit for all.
Whatsapp calls uses about 5kb/s
Spotify, once i turn music on, on extreme, its 130kb/s (no idea if its the true value since buffering and all.)
Speed test shows 0.14mb/s on average.
normal surfing sometimes goes into 200kb/s mark, but its just a spike, non constant.
I find 100-200kb/s can sometimes lead to slower loading on insta and fb. especially if its a video or has multiple pics in a post. (for smooth loading, it needs to be able to spike to 1mb/s)
youtube, i'd get 130kb/s on average. so thats 360p or 420p. still decent.

I followed the steps but my phone does not auto connect to wireless@sgx. Whenever I try to connect by selecting wireless@sgx afterwards, my phone (Xiaomi Mi A1) restarts. I have 2 SIM and 2 M1 A1 phones and both faced the same issue. Not sure if the problem lies with the phone or zero1 SIM card or both.

Anyone faced the same issue?

After emailing a few times and waiting, finally got this reply from them to solve the wireless@sgx problem
It works but you need to have another phone to put the SIM card into to receive the OTP:s22:

Non-SIM setup for Wireless@sg
Step 1 : Download Wireless@SG app from Google Play or App Store
Step 2 : Remove Zero1 SIM from the mobile phone to proceed with setup configuration.
Note :
 Please ensure you have wifi connection before proceed with this set up
 Input Zero1 SIM into another phone as to receive the OTP
Step 3 : Click on Setup
Step 4 : Select Provider as Singtel and input your NRIC, mobile number and click Next to proceed
Step 6) Enter the OTP received on the mobile number you have input and click NEXT to complete setup.
Once successfully setup, you will be auto connected to wireless@sgx.
Step 7) You can put back the SIM to your mobile phone after Step 6.

errr, for my xiaomi phone, i go settings, then wifi, and then click on the wireless@sgx, and choose "sim" autentication, it connects automatically without requiring any app or setup

Thanks, I had tried this "sim" autentication method earlier before trying the round about way using the app. :(

Aiyo, my order on 16/3, now still waiting le
300039**

I wrote in threatening to chargeback my credit card if I didn't get the sim card by 6/4/2018. Well, I just got their canned reply stating thank you for my patience etc and that SIM cards are sent out in random order.

Not sure if they really went through their system to look at my order, but when I received the delivery email and SMS from xdel, I also receive an email reply from Zero1 saying they located my order in their system and had processed it for delivery. Could be horse behind cannon by Zero1, but I'm finally getting my SIM card tomorrow afternoon, fingers crossed.

I signed up on 13/3 with account number 2XXX though.

30-Mar: Signed up
6-Apr: Received sim card
10-Apr: Received sms from +6597225682 stating "Fm Singtel: Dear Customer, the tentative date to process your mobile number porting request is 10/04/2018. Thank you."
15-Apr: No porting confirmation sms that I read I should receive till date. Starhub line still active.

I read I should only insert the sim card after receiving the porting confirmation sms and current line cease to connect.

Hmm... Singtel is handling the porting?

Should I call Singtel since Zero1 only has template email reply or pop by their office at 51 Goldhill Plaza #18-11 Singapore 308900?

Has anyone dropped by their office and did it help?

Is unfair that they already start charging on the day the sim card was being delivered.

I think it's the same for all telco. If son's starhub number 87654321 is under mum's, mum can transfer the number 87654321 to son, after which son can port over number 87654321 to zero1.

I managed to set it up successfully without removing the Sim from my phone...

Sim card arrived. Pop into my Huawei Mate 9 and immediately on 4G. Will see how it is after the 3GB.

Can't seem to work. Is your number port over from SingTel?
