Email definitely no problem.

However, opening images on Email Platform may be an issue if you are on your 0.5mbps throttled speed. (0.5mbps claimed by several EDMWERS here)

Initial stages of throttled speed is 1.0mbps.

What's your throttled speed?

I used approx 1.5GB on my secondary phone and the throttled speed is 1.05mbps download / 0.98 mbps upload. Honestly, Youtube videos on 480p quite smooth as for now.

Not sure whether the throttled speed will slow down once i used 5GB or so.

Hmmm. Both of my iPhone 8 Plus and Xiaomi 5 Plus can achieve same speed leh.

Below image is taken from my Xiaomi 5 Plus (4G+ network too):

No problem in sending both images/video Snapchat, streaming mid quality Toggle's video, 480p Youtube videos; etc.

The speed is not a static variable but it is dynamically adjusted according to the type of applications users are using, the network condition of the websites users are trying to reach and the network utilisation at that time. Speed may also vary depending on the phone you are using, its RAM, the number of applications you have as well as your location.

Certain areas in CBD, may have network congestion during peak period. When network congestions happens, zero1 will lower down the managed speed for their customers.

That is why they don't write 1mbps on their website. They only write manged speed.

IDK y there so much bad comment about zero1.
You are paying 13.90 per month(9.9 first 6 month)
For 1gb at 4g and unlimited at a bearable throttle speed

Been using it in camp for 1 month alr no problem at all
P.S my camp signal quite low also

why not? if everyone at cbd keep using full LTE throughput, there might have a congestion on the cell tower for that area.
