As good as saying they have no clue.
Prata flipping. last week email says

Please be informed that the Streamo Freedom 5G plan provides perpetual 5G access under the Non-Standalone (NSA) 5G network for as long as your subscription remains active. There is no time limit on 5G access for this plan.

Our 5G+ Standalone (SA) network is currently in the testing stage, with a targeted rollout by end-December 2025, subject to final trials and partner readiness. Once the service is officially launched, your existing SIM card will remain compatible — no SIM swap will be required.

Well anyway I just ported into vivifi. They gave me a 5g sim card but it's NSA on nPerf.

Here's to hoping I don't need to go change sim cards when they switch SA on.
I believe the new SIM card is SA capable. The SA option on my iphone can be toggled on. Although no SA connection yet.

Should be preparing for launch of 5G SA as even SingTel subgroup GOMO also doing the same to replace / new sign up issue 5G SA eSIM and nanoSIM along with new yellow GOMO app.

All MVMO telco must be fully ready to support 5G SA on 1 Jan 2026 as 5G NSA will be phase out by 31 Dec 2025. Main traffic light already 5G SA ready so not affected.

Do prepare to see MVNO new plan or upgraded plan in coming 3 months to promote true 5G switchover.

I saw that zero1 and vivifi having almost identical plans and promotions. Both are on SingTel network.

Any additional benefit to try vivifi? especially in terms of speed, frequency of downtimes, ease of termination/porting

based on my experience, all the 3 Singtel minions telcos (Zym, Zero1 and Vivifi) are the same, I just ported into Zero1 today, i feel the experience is same when i was with Zym last month.

No difference in speed, same benefits (almost). For downtimes, if zym down, means zero1 and vivifi down, based on the last 2 to 3 downtimes with zym.

Network wise pretty similar, so are the outages.
Here are some known difference for you :

Vivifi & Zym doesn't supports VoWifi, Zero1 has previously claimed VoWifi support, but later denies that. User feedback is that it doesn't work, except a single report of it working.
Zym don't have esim so far, zero1 & vivifi has.
Zym requires an app to do any management, zero1 can use app or web, vivifi only web.
Zero1 has least talk time for plans >=$10, Vivifi has more and zym has even more.
Zym requires IDD add-on plan to call IDD, Zero1 & Vivifi is pay per use.
Vivifi supports number port anytime, zero1 submit at application, zym submit at activation.
Vivifi seems to have a reputation to get the name order mix up resulting in porting problems.
Physical sign up : Zero1 at Harper Point, Vivifi have a few, zym has lots.
Zym send bill by 5th/deduct on 10th, zero1 send bill on 6th/deduct on 8th, Vivifi sends ard 25th.
All 3 use calendar month billing cycle.

For the cheapest plan Zero1 is $7.06, Vivifi $7.70, Zym $7.77.
Next ~ $10, Vivifi is $10, Zym & Zero1 is $10.10.
At ~$15, Vivifi & Zero1 is $15, Zym is $15.10.
Zym's $10.10 plan provides free 5G for 180 days, but later Zero1 & Vivifi also extended to 6 months for their $10/10.10 plans.
Vivifi has 2 different $15 plans, most should prefer the more recent "Roam Asia Super 5G" plan. Note the other plan "Roam MY Super" only includes 5G for 12 months. Roam MY Super has been removed from website.

For port in Zym & Vivifi can use with temp no. once activated, Zero1 doesn't provide temp number & needs to wait for port in (including esim, totally no connection before port in is complete, Also sim pick up on Fri-Sun can only activate next business day after 2pm.)
For port out Zym just have to be done by end of month, Vivifi appears to be the same, for Zero1 I can't find anything but there are reports of billing after port out so there might be a notice period there.
For termination Vivifi/Zero1 both ask for 7 day's notice (Zero1 by 3pm), Zym did not specify.

Port back :
Zym - promo doesn't apply for numbers that was with Zym in the past 12 months
Zero1 - if number was with Zero1 in the past 3 Months, there is a one-time registration fee of $10.90 + $5.45 for the cost of the SIM card.

Change of plan :
Vivifi - 5 business days (no longer charge, prorate, lose existing discount),
zero1 - 7 business days ($10.90 for downgrade, prorate, subsequent change a month later),
zym - 5 working days (no longer charge for downgrade, prorate, lose any promotional benefits)

Minimum subscription :
Vivifi - 2 bills (2 months + any prorated part of a month)
Zero1 - 1 month+7 day's notice (b4 3pm) if that exceed the billing cycle, another month will be billed.
Zym - 2 months

For port in using eSIM, will you get activated immediately? with a temp no.

Based on zero1 email is activated only after port. Not sure if that is true in practice. Might be able to provide some insight when i get my sim card tomorrow

He's asking esim. Logically, Esim may be immediate port in after scanning the qr code. I'm also not sure. Haha.

Port in need to go through the process and cannot be done immediate regardless of esim or not. Esim will simply initiate the process right away, but we need zero1 to process it and forward to the donor telco.

The big question is really whether the line is active with a temp number before port is completed. Since no one knows for sure we will need to have someone to confirm it with their own experience. But if someone with physical sim has a usable line before port then we likely have an answer as well.

I think Zero1 doesn't have a temporary number.

So if opted for port in, will have to wait for the number to be ported in before can use the service.

Z1 port in regardless of esim or physical sim do not have active line, user will continue with existing telco until port in is completed between existing telco and Z1. You can have the esim installed but no line exists as Z1 do not provide temp number. That's my experience with them.

I can confirm this behavior, after activation, sim card will not connect to network at all while pending port, even if manually selected.

BTW, I got a 4G sim card for a new 5G plan signup, appears that zero1 prefers to mail out another 5G sim card to swap regardless of what they have mentioned here : https://zero.zero1.sg/announcement/zero1-5g-plus/

It took 4 business days for the sim card, 2 days for processing, 1 day for Singpost to pick up, 1 day for delivery.
