Any major diff between zero1 and vivifi? As both offer 15 dollars 5g plan but vivifi has 200 more talktime.

Was wondering if anyone faced any differences in service or app usage between the 2 since network should be quite similar under ST.

One thing not clear about Zero1, needs the users here to confirm.

Zym and VIVIFI offer 10 minutes free incoming roaming voice call which helps to prevent some bill shocks. I cannot find such terms from Zero1 website.

But then again. I am still on the old plan aka with free months. Maybe new subscribers this year can also share? In case it is like the additional roaming data only for new users

Good point. Let's wait for other Zero1 users to chime in to confirm whether 10 minutes free incoming voice call is there or not.

Zero1-Contract-Feb-2026.jpg

Info can be found in the contract.

Do you have the detail of the "Free Internation Roaming Voice & SMS"? How many minutes? Any free outgoing SMS? Any free outgoing voice minutes?

No, not stated.

In that case, I will assume it does not have the free 10 minutes roaming voice for now, until another Zero1 user comes out to confirm.

Ah yes. This was the other push to VVF. I wanted that 10mins protection. Just answering and saying "I'm overseas and paying roaming for calls. Please call me after I'm back on DD/MM or email me." will work to shorten some of these calls, especially stakeholder calls.

Or I just use my SIMBA line to call back especially if it's a mobile line.

From what I gather Zym is willing to give current offers to existing customers whereas Zero1 & Vivifi will not. CS support wise maybe all the same depending on luck.

Thanks for the detailed summary! Tho i see that the extra money zym charges probably goes into having an actual CS team.

Just signed with vivifi and their P sim delivery price seems to be $5.50!

Zym's plan is also $15.10 compared to z1 and vivifi's $15 as well. But if u need the extra talktime its still a pretty good plan

I just started Zym so not so sure if their billing is 30 days or full month. Anyway it's pretty negligible between these 3 as performance wise they are identical. I preferred Zym/Vivifi as they have the 10 mins free incoming roaming calls.

From my past experience, Vivifi CSOs were willing to give new plan changes to existing customers - just write in. As they are no-contract, there's no reason not to.

I can guess an exception would be if Singtel tied the benefits to churn customers - "for new sign ups/number transfer from non-Singtel".

Did something change?

From what i read z1 and zym cso are not giving the promotional new sign ups and port in offer currently that is tied with 365 days limits. vivifi i left long ago not quite sure...

Those appear to be tied to churn requirements, based on how they worded it. I am guessing Singtel must have directed them to offer it only to new-to-Singtel customers, so either new line or port-in from non-ST.

I think customers might still be able to ask for the 500 IDD minutes and the 20GB roaming since those don't look like they have churn requirements.

Operators also measure churn - "how many customers jumped from their operator to mine" - as part of their benchmarks. The implied assumption here is that "customers left their previous network cos mine is better", so they use this metric for investors and marketing. That's why these carrots are dangled to generate churn.

Singtel is very blatant about this - so they tie all new customers to 12mo contracts (except for some exceptions in the past year) to stop churning out. Even seniors, where it makes no sense. I worry that other operators may employ this strategy soon, so it limits our choices. It's worth noting that SH has control on its sole MVNO - Eight.

Just received SMS from Zero1

"Your active period of IDD v019 500 Minutes Free has started."

My usage has been reset. Weird.
