This week heya going even slower than before. Getting under 50mbps.
IMHO.
The cap drop back to about 75Mbps from 99Mbps.
I noticed that there seems to be more users.
Anyway, this month they give me additional 50Gb.
While they said max is 200Gb, one of my other number has gone above that ! :ROFLMAO:

Oh didn’t know different provider have different rate. So how to know if data is enough when switching.
Hi,

Sharing my logic of seeing it: if speed is capped, it means it will a longer time to load the same content as compared to using a line with faster speed. However, the absolute data consumed would still remain the same.

so based on the above assumption, data usage depend more on the content u will be loading per month. Using a capped speed line means u need to spend more minutes of life waiting for content to load.

for those whose time is very valuable (time is $$$), it could be seen as more “expensive” to use a line with capped speed, even if the line gives double the free data.

hope it helps in your decision

IMHO.
Just to share my observations.

It also depends on the number of users on the network at that point of time and the content.
If you have a lot of video streaming users, the download will be saturated.

1. Can someone confirm, if we can receive sms when outside Singapore?

2. Anyone using multiple Zero1 lines? I want to see how the app interface looks like when using 2 or more lines.

It’s been out for a few weeks now (both Jumbo 60 and Jumbo 100 can auto renew if you saved the credit card in the wallet, last time can only renew at shops/online resellers). The pricing is $12 and $20 respectively every 30 days. You can see this when you click on terms and conditions.

I can confirm that Singtel Network remains faster than Zero1 (using Singtel Network). It is definitely NOT the same. So Zero1 can be your spare line, but should not be your main line especially for gaming.

I did Okta Speed Test at a Starbucks in major shopping centre:

Singtel = 78.82 Mbps with 21ms ping.

Zero1 (Singtel network) = 53.15 Mbps with 28ms ping.

I also streamed 4k video and noticed that Zero1 had occasional lag spike where the video will freeze before resuming 2-3 seconds later.

Interesting! Was your SingTel & Zero 1 SIM card inserted in the same phone for ookla speedtest?

Collected SIM card last night (waited half hour at SingPost.
For those who collected their Zero1 SIM card at SingPost PO, did the SingPost staff at the counter require a printout of your Zero1 registration email? Or showing the email on your phone to them did the trick? @kun1he2 Thanks!

Zero1 will email you the following instructions when the SIM card is ready for collection:

Dear Sir/Mdm,

Kindly be informed that your SIM card/s from Zero1 is ready for collection starting on <Date>.
You may proceed to any of the SingPost outlets for self-collection.

Please show your Order Summary (printed or digital copy) and your original identification document (e.g NRIC / Work Permit etc) at the Collection Centre.

If you are unable to collect in person:
Kindly write in to orderprocessing@zero1.sg to update the change of authorised person.
In the email, please provide the authorised person's Full Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Contact Number, NRIC / FIN Number.

You can only proceed to SingPost after you’ve received an SMS / email notification that the changes of the authorised person have been completed.

On the day of collection, the authorised recipient must produce the following documents:
1. Authorised person's original NRIC/FIN as per authorisation submission by email
2. Zero1 subscriber's original NRIC/FIN as per registration record
NOTE: You cannot authorise a different person to collect on your behalf.

If any of the above documents are not produced, you agree that the staff will not issue the SIM to you.

For more info, please visit https://www.singpost.com/list-of-post-offices

Thank you for your support and have a pleasant day ahead!
