wah so basically its less than 1 business day for port in?
On their FAQ, they state need 1-3 business day

have u tried adding another card and delete old one?
I ended service with zero1
No point add another one just to delete first one right? Lol
I don't think the system allows generated number either

(1) Yes
(2) The interface same except additional lines
Thank you..time to ditch GIGA, network too troublesome in East side.

I was worried about receiving OTPs etc while travelling as someone pointed that Zero1 cant receive SMS/CALL when overseas.

Yes, Giga was good until the borders open and this shortfall in Giga is really inconvenient.

It depends on which plan you get. The Jumbo plans are not able to receive SMS or calls when overseas. The Starter & u plans can.

Yes I ported out to CL Postpaid after staying in Z1 Jumbo for about 3 months.
Sorry if my question is silly. Why you ported out to CL (circle life) instead of other (even it is just for temporary)? I am planning to port out from CL $5 plan to Zero 1 starter. Saw your comment and curious, just in case I missed out any important consideration factor.

Back then the manual topup is quite a hassle, plus my company have CL CIS and I took it up with device discount (monthly bill waivers) instead.

That's my supplementary line anyway, my main line is still on SingTel MVNO.

Meaning Heya's $10 plan is superior to either of the Zero1's Jumbo plan.
Heya $10 for 50 GB (with rollover data), 300 mins, 50 SMS.

All heya SIM Cards come with a recurring base plan:
$0 (Usual Price $3) [$0 Promotion Discount till further notice.]
Free Incoming Calls
Validity of 60 days

Zero1 $12 for 60 GB, 500 mins, 50 SMS.
Zero1 $20 for 100 GB, 800 mins, 100 SMS, 500 mins IDD.

Base plan:
$0
Free incoming calls unknown
Validity unknown

Note: I am only comparing permanent entitlements as it is more practical.

I wouldn’t say one is better than another as it depends on your usage.
One good thing about Zero1 is now the Jumbo plans can do automatic renewal via credit/debit card if you saved the card in their wallet.
Heya is still shop top up although there are more workarounds coming up like getting the retailer’s contact or buying top up through third party online retailers.

There’s zym $9 (after 50% off $18 plan), but only for 1 year contract

i just got a bill shock and i have the $6.90 plan.

$6.9 plan doesn't include GST?

They are billing me 7% GST on top of the $6.90 but they charging me $7.57. Math doesn't add up but that's the invoice that's sent to me.

Charging me extra $0.67 !!!!
1st month? Or you been using for awhile?

If first bill it’s due to prorated 1st month, so that $0.67 you pay extra for 3 days.

You can read their FAQ. First bill will be pro rated until billing cycle date. Your line was probably activated 3 days before the closest billing cycle. I’m guessing 19th July 2022?

I just sign up the 50gb for $12 plan and got my SIM card. I plug in the sim and it isn’t working. Anyone know whether activation is immediate?

Yeah... While they are Frequently asked questions, they're also infrequently read cos many users are too lazy to check before firing off their questions. :s13:

Guess it's because people grow up being told they're special, so they assume they are the only ones in the world who will ask that question over a commodity product.

PS: This "special" mindset was called out by many speakers, including Simon Sinek.

A question on the Jumbo plan. If I buy and pay for the 1st month but don't renew it after 30 days, what will happen to the SIM card?

1) Will it expire? I assume not, since it's $0/m subscription
2) Can it still receive SMS? Especially can it still receive SMS while overseas?

I am exploring if I can use it when I move to another country and keep the number for OTP purpose.

Thanks

(1) The number u are using will be alive for next 3 months without any services till you top up.
(2) Jumbo plan does not support overseas call and sms. If u wanna keep for overseas OTP, I suggest to go for the $6.90 starter plan will do
