Can install the update while on Nova Launcher or should I switch back to stock launcher before the update?

Better to switch to stock rom before updating to nougat.

Reason is that it appears there is a Launcher3 in the B02 with the drawer for apps, besides the MiFavor 4.2

The B02 should be post #258 in that particular forum.
But take note, you have to upgrade/update step by step...

Next up upgrade to B01 (nougat) from mentioned forum post #254
Then download the B02 nougat update from the forum post #258

Nope, mine has been able to recognise my Scandisk 256GB since day 1 when I got it....mine is A2017 model

What u mean by media
Alarm volume is considered priority, it can be adjust by tapping on the volume buttons then pressing the arrow facing down
What u should see is this, and that's where alarm volume can be adjusted

Before I updated to Nougat, when I tap to Silent, everything is silenced, even when I watch YouTube. With Nougat update, I've to adjust volume to zero instead.

Press and hold on the "Silent mode" icon.... the SOUND setting page will appear.
Slide the media and alarm to the left.... then press home button to exit.
That's it, it should work.

B04 for G model is out
However, looks like it's only meant for Australia
U can update, but I guessing it's not thru OTA as it could be to fix a bug happening there
B10, B11(Android M) is also available at the download site if u need it
Remember to be on 7.1 before updating with B04 package

All the tempered glass protectors won't fit the full screen and the edges will also not stick down well from all the reviews I've read.
