Have you approached your bank and SCT? Cos CHE will never reply to CASE letter and they will never attend SCT, hence I advice you to deal with the bank straight away.

These people will go HELL and be tarnished in HELL and never get to reincarnate.

Already seek Bank to help out

I already approached the Bank, now is waiting for Bank reply, my letter is received by that Sherman, they chop on the letter and requested me to follow the procedure.

After which I keep calling CHE but no one pick up the call till now. I given up all hope, I have now approached the bank and lateral I will go to SCT directly.

Can CHE choose not to attend the SCT?

If one day, we have the capability, we can joint to open up a non-profit organisation to fight against these scam companies. Serious, 0 moral integrity.

Its so stupid to be scammed by them. I really hate myself. My push factor for the signing of contract is because I was misled by their information.

Their manager is Anthony, the sales is Carol.

Hi sanji_85
Just to share that che will never attend sct.

Hi. But if they don't attend, won't they lose the case immediately. Ruling is not to their advantage if they are not around.

Anyone get back their money thru SCT after 5 days cooling period?

Hi WeiHan

I get back mine b4 my SCT.

Because mine was already well after 5 days cooling period. Actually, for me, they didn't even put the slip regarding 5 days cooling period in my brochure.

But I am thinking of charging them for
1. Misrepresentation
2. Intentially cheating
3. Using high pressure tactic etc... to try making a claim at SCT for full refund.

If you have written proofs of cancelling before 5 days cooling period, then it is straight forward because if they don't refund you, it is against the written law. You can either report to police or file at SCT. The ruling at SCT is the Court's order and if not complied, the police can arrest.

For those who cancelled within the 5 days, what's considered as written proof of cancellation?

I did not cancel within 5 days. But I'll think a cancellation email to them, a registered letter of cancellation send to them are all considered written proofs. Another way, is by hand deliver, but make sure they signed and stamp with a company stamp on a photocopied letter of cancellation which you keep (write down the name and NRIC number of the person who sign it also, check her NRIC). Best is to have all three above.

The Discovery Group company is now asking me to go down and do the cancellation and refund me the cash next week.

1st: Send cancellation notice by registered mail & by hand (if you hv time) asap

2nd: if paid by credit card, submit a dispute request against the payment, if you paid by credit card

3rd: immediately stop all payments to them

4th: Go SCT after you done the above

Hi,
just don't pay and tell them you are not interested if they call you up to demand for payment.

On and off, different phone calls from different companies will call up asking you do you have a timeshare? Just ignore the phone calls and tell them you are not interested and put down the phonecall.

This is based on my personal experience.
