Im on Starhub 1Gbps, the wifi doesnt cut off per se, but my internet access just kinda stops after using a while.

I've got both the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz network on, so when i stop getting internet on one, i just connect to the other network and its all fine again.

Sent from hamster factory using GAGT

You can update to 2345 from asus website. just unzip the package and upload the firmware to your router thru the firmware upgrade. Do not use the auto update as it will update to the latest 3341, which many of us is bugged, and cannot be flashed back. So far 2345 is quite stable for my usuage.

On stinktel, probably their issue.

Yup, probably their issue alrite...

Anyways, just 1 to 1 exchange at Avertek this morning and just hooked up with firmware 2345. No drop issues so far. Avertek guy also mentioned that 3341 firmware is not so stable for some users with same intermittent drop issues.

Precisely, and also do a factory reset aftet the update ya guys. For my unit I would just let it be since nobody complains about wifi for a week now:)

So far so good now for me on 2.4G, but on 5G, there is once a drop of wifi connectivity for the phones.

i think my phone might be faulty ( 2.4Ghz stopped connecting. only 5Ghz work
all other devices able to connect to 2.4Ghz )

it was the latest version

rolled back to 2345

anyway users should avoid new fw until issues has been fixed by asus

But the latest version, 3341 is unable to rolled back to any version??? Correct me if I am wrong, it can be verfied by checking on your router page, at the top of the page where it states your current firmware version.

The latest firmware does not really give me much problem. I think sometime, is heng or sway. But definitely, asus has to improve on the firmware's stability.
