my redmi note 3 charging port just up lorry 1 month ago. Power/Lock screen button is not responsive too. ordered spare parts with a new battery from ali express and replace all of them. phone is as good as new

My power button also not very responsive. Is it difficult to replace? Can share the link for AliExpress seller for the parts? Quite a few out there and not sure which is reliable.

Redmi note 3 pro if you bought it locally

I get the one from seller with highest rating. Not difficult just need to be extra careful when taking out the cable from the motherboard. Youtube video is your best friend

My unit was bought from M1 shop. It has hexa core 1.8gb Qualcomm cpu.

I ask one seller and he told me my unit is redmi note 3. Not note 3 pro

So how to tell?

Just go to Lazada, search "Phone Parts Power Switch On Off Key Volume Button Flex Cable for Redmi Note 3".

To dismantle just go YouTube to search for Redmi Note 3 teardown.

Just take note after taking out the cover, handle with care, don't life up more than 1cm as the fingerprint cable is very short and will snap.

It says 'battery drain in idle mode...', I only know before this airplane mode would consume 2-3% of my battery now wake up switch on still same %, upon usage immediately drop 1%.

Sorry not sure if this affect other Note 3 users.

Previously I can defer my update of MIUI until when ever I want to update.

However with 9.5, I cannot dismiss the update notification at all. Worse.. It auto downloads the update and force me to reboot to update MIUI.

cannot dismiss update notification. But can stop auto download of update. Anyway i just updated mine today. Will see how it goes

I personally don't like to update every single time there is an update.

I prefer to update only after a few updates have been done.
