hi guys, new diesel car owner here. I understand SMART energy at Mandai/Serangoon North needs to join member/buy top up card to use. How about Cnergy at Toh Tuck Ave? Need to buy card too?
Same system. Ask any pump attendant to buy the top up card. Cnergy cheaper

Smart Petrol Station in Serangoon North Ave 5 which sell diesel (euro 5 compliance) at discount at almost 28% for members good? Sofar pumping Shell diesel for my newly acquired 2015 Jaguar XF2.2. Appreciate any feedback.
I have been pumping at SMART for a year. Only recently my car threw out an ECL for dirty fuel. Just once, I guess once in awhile just pump at shell or caltex for their additives

Might not be dirty fuel.. dpf clogged with accumulated dirt?
Do a quick run along nshw once every month or two to clear it.

Recently I claimed warranty for mountings.. Just about 25k.

Steering wheel vibrated and seats felt like Osim chair

Is it because diesel engines vibrate more compared to petrol and thus create more stress on the mountings?

Kns.. Just about 1 year of ownership only

Hope not. Into second year of ownership, everything seems okay except for the creaking sounds right from start.

Creakings in my car since Day One are gone before I realised it.
Perhaps the joints have gotten worn out to fit?

Bad news, custom 3/4 tank rule has been extended to diesel. It was once petrol and cng only.

FYI caltex seems to have 20% off for diesel quite often (past few months at the stevens station).

Btw for citibank cashback holders.... i just tried calling them to ask... it seems that the 8% off fuel applies.... if you hit the $888 monthly spending. Hence....the effective discount is 28% in total...

Given up on City credit card, what stupid nonsense of $888 fuel to enjoy 20% discount otherwise 8%.

Immediately switch to UOB one card to get better discount
