Probably people didn't thought it would be that BAD, and ultimately it is the cost factor.

As for Tengah estate, people has the prior knowledge of noise issue (based on punggol) and the price is not even that attractive. Its a long bet (20 years) for Tengah to be fully developed. Punggol town is also about 20 years old to gauge the amount of development. For those interested in Tengah, understand how fighter jets create sound (path) and find out the existing flight path of TAB and what is the flight path orientation of the expansion.


I see....ya.. agree.. a long bet for tengah.. like punggol..

but URA Master plan for punggol is quite good, ppl still wanna escape?

BTOs that are going to be completed along northeast line MRT from the last station:
punggol coast
punggol
sengkang
Woodleigh (bidadari)

imagine the density is already packed like sardines during peak hour... definitely won't lose to east west line

even taking LRT on the east side of punggol already full, the crowd at the MRT station is just terrible and a nightmare to me

Is there a website to check for all flight paths? I heard that Pasir Ris is also affected by jets landing at Paya Lebar Airbase.

I stay in Pasir Ris for more 20 years. I have never heard any noises from the jets or ppl complaining.

circle line after paya lebar is OK since there are a lot of passengers alighting at the interchange
so for residents boarding towards dhoby ghaut, confirm got seats
but heading towards harborfront, have to stand for one more stop to have seats

a week after launch? isn't it only have a week to apply? if realy like that mean you don't know what is the price for the BTO while you apply??

You only get an estimated price when you apply IIRC.

but pricing for each unit not yet

I believe they will also indicate the starting price for each block? Then add $1k per floor and i think $2k above certain floors like 10th. I rmb seeing a price range for each area, then i take the difference and divide by the floors. The not-so-hot projects are usually $1k add on per floor.

some lower floor unit at some stack is priced higher than some higher floor unit of the other stack, some are priced the same despite on the different storey

edited: same floor but difference of $10k despite same unit size also have maybe due to different direction /etc
