Hi, i am planning to get a xiaomi 4s 65" TV.

I am planning to output the TV's audio from netflix and other apps to my yamaha receiver.

Does the TV have optical output? I understand that it has HDMI ARC but unfortunately my yamaha receiver does not have HDMI ARC. Is there any way that i can work around this?

My less than 3 months old xiaomi tv just turn black screen, and whenever turn on just black screen. Indicator light turn on, one to two seconds, thin line on top of screen lid up and full black screen. Purchased from mi store funan. Anyone with same experience ?

Recently my Mi Tv 4 updated its software, but after that it seems that the volume has been reduced drastically. What i use for vol ard lvl 7 or 8 can only reach the same loudness at ard lvl 20 now. Any "fix" or is it prob just a recalibration of the vol number?

you don't need the cable to check the settings on your TV. You can go through it and see if it's a hassle to you to switch. May be you're ok but others at home may find it a hassle. eg after you watching some muscials, then you just off the TV. Next time you on the TV to watch the news, there is no sound from the TV speaker until the person goes through the settings to change it back to TV speaker.

When I'm on TV speaker or HDMI ARC, when I switch to SPDIF, the audio is cut off, so I presume it's going to SPDIF.

Got hold of an optical cable, like the audio output to my sound bar watching youtube, seems to have less lag.

I think there is a settings to adjust the lag, fyi.

Does switching on the TV switch on the sound bar also ? And off as well ?

Saw it's a common complain. Heard it's a bug. Switching channel clears it for me.

Hi everyone! Is anyone using 65" 4S Mi TV have image quality issues playing HD online movies? I can see the different tones of black/grey or colours in patches or blocks. Also for fast moving fighting scences, the edge of object or person can become blurry. Is this normal for this TV? Sorry if i can't describe problem well. Please advice. Thanks.

You bought from Xiaomi SG or from other sellers like minihelper.

I received my 55 inch 4s from qoo10 minihelper which order on 12/12 sales, check with the seller prior placing order and they confirmed it is the global set which has netflix pre-installed. but end up it turn out to be a russian set (L55M5-5ARU) + Mi-Stick combo instead of (L55M5-5ASP).
Called the shop number on the qoo10 page but the guys said he is just the importer of xiaomi TV from funan center and not the seller in qoo10, He told me that the L55M5-5ASP stopped production worldwide and there is no more stock on the market, he pursuit me to accept the rusisian set + mi stick combo and said it is a better combination than the L55M5-5ASP alone. On top of that, he mentioned that if i do not happy with the combo, they can only do refund if i bring it back to the IMM store. I have feel being smoke to accept the russian set combo instead... is there any bro out there receiving his tv and having the similar situation like me and what is your take? TIA
