I suggest you compare with your eyes and also the size of your budget ..
I have bought both Sony tv and also a Hisense
The latter was for a rental so it didn’t matter so long as it was affordable
The two Sony tvs I use cost eight and eighteen times that of my Hisense .. different size and quality….

I’m still contemplating between u8h and c835. Though there’s a slightly price diff plus OS diff. Panel wise also. VA vs IPS

I went to courts and view. It’s awesome!
but I didn’t get a chance to view c835
Get the C835 unless wide-viewing angle is important to you and your family.

Price diff $200. I find it no point to spend extra $200 more. If $100 I will just close eye. Anw I saw posts in their thread the firmware having issues as well.
Firmware can be fixed with future updates. IPS glow (U8H) in dark room viewing can't. U8H will be brighter and punchier in the day, but bad for dark scenes, especially during night time viewing. I watch TV in the dark, so for me, VA is the way to go most of the time. If you're not bothered by it, or the use-case for an IPS fits you, then U8H is the way to go. Enjoy!

It's more than $200 price diff sometimes.

Both have wide viewing angle of 178 degrees.

Viewing angle refers to the angle at which you can watch the TV without seeing a noticeable drop in picture quality. IPS TVs are the clear winner here, as the image remains accurate when viewing from the side. This is their main advantage over VA panels. Most VA panel TVs have a noticeable loss in image accuracy when viewing from the side. The narrow viewing angle of VA-type TVs is also problematic when the TV is used as a PC monitor from up close since the edges of the display look washed out.

any idea if order from shopee, is delivery still done by Hisense ?
Will they call first to confirm before making delivery ?

just worried if outsource to third party, they may just leave at doorstep if no one at home.

Based on what you are saying, then U8H IPS Panel will have better viewing angle.

Aiya don't think got company will leave the box outside unless you have given them written approval or you have security camera. No company will risk a $1000 tv being knocked over by someone because of a $30 delivery fee.

So either they deliver again or they charge a $30 re-delivery fee imo.

went courts to view the U8H ..really looks stunning and black levels is awesome ..comparable to oled for my undiscerning eyes.

but seems sales person there not incentivised to sell hisense ..ask some guy to help and end up he keep pushing me Philips TV.
I also realized Courts hard sell Philips. Hisense should have more value.
