Yeah really value for money. I have an R2000DB connected for TV. Good enough sound and no need sub woofer. Always put bass at MID. Sometimes even put at MIN if it's night time.

Wanted another S880DB Hi-Res but PC table can't fit. 😞

this is the JBL model I was talking about JBL Quantum Duo | Best PC Gaming Speakers with Lights | JBL Singapore

can go audition first, I saw EDMW peeps buying can ask them for reviews.

looks crappy and maybe expensive ($200+ last time I checked) but sound quality should be decent.
Oh but these are gaming speakers... I dun game and I'm not sure if it's advisable or not advisable to get gaming speakers for just listening to music and watching Youtube

I mean gaming speakers, all these is just marketing speaks, speaker means speaker, got sound means got sound, all can listen to music and watch youtube, its whether you like the sound only or not, or whether the value is there for the budget/SQ performance ratio, or you are just paying more for RGB lightning and so-called gaming branded

The reason ppl tend to advise against these gaming speakers, is because they tend to prioritise how bling bling the speaker is, rather than the sound, not to mention overcharging just because its 'gaming speakers'

that said, I have never audition it before, but I do have some alternatives at this budget
JBL 104 @ 189, Mackie CR4-X @ 208, Presonus E4.5 @ 266
Or any of the Edifier R series, even the top model R2000DB is 200+ only

If you got space for sub, then the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 (non-heritage), is a good choice as well

I have been using Edifier R1850DB for like 2yrs 8months+ really no regrets.

The clarity of the sound is impressive. I have the Edifier T5 subwoofer connected for more bass but even without it, the speaker is very good.
