Hi all, wanted to install system 4 aircon (adding aircon in living room) while current is system 3 aircon.

Installer came to site visit and say need to install condensate pump as the living room aircon will be lower than the one in all the rooms.

They are charging $250 for the condensate pump. May I know if this price is reasonable and does anyone have image of how your condensate pump and how the piping connecting to the condensate look like after installation?

close door and window , single button powerful mode, I guess within 5mins auto off back to normal setting.
If still could not get within 5 hours, should be low gas pressure.
My master bedroom set on 26c with far bar 1.
No powerful mode. Sometime take 2 to 3 hours then light off.
If turn on turbo model , I think around 30-1 hours light off.
For common room 30mins light off, not need use powerful mode.

i prefer you call them back and check gas pressure got a little bit help
Thanks for your suggestion. I am thinking of getting 2nd opinion.

Sorry, I'm not sure what 'single button powerful mode' is. I thought just 1 power ON/OFF button?

Curious, why do you not use higher fan speed? I thought that will cool room faster too.

remove current limiter. also which f the 3 are on? 10 or 13 or 18 or all? if all then no way to hit 22c. maybe at night after a couple of hours. if 10 then the room is small and should be able to get 22.
I read about the removal of current limiter in this thread. This is my 1st time hearing such. Is this a common practice?

So just have to request an AC contractor to come down toggle the switch?

Nope, only 1 FU is on each time. Even for the room with 10k btu, best it could reach was 23.

Powerful mode = high fan with timer.

Hi I have this Daikin system 2 inverter installed 8 years ago. Everything is working fine. Just wanted to ask those familiar with Daikin models about the function of the "Econo" button. I'll first describe what I have encountered. So usually when I use the aircon I'll just set max fan speed and 25c and that's it never fiddled with anything else. Recently I was changing the remote control's batteries then I noticed the "Econo" button so from that day onwards I switched on the aircon with the "Econo" function turned on as well. Now I do feel the cooling has improved and according to the SP app I am using less electricity during the night hours when the aircon is on. Am I imagining things or is this really the result of turning on "Econo" feature? Ok it makes sense that electricity usage is reduced when "Econo" is turned on but what about the improved cooling? Thank you

Is it "better" to use fan speed 4 or 5 (max) with 25 degrees or fan speed 3 with 24 degrees.

I normally use fan speed 2 with 24 degrees and turn on ceiling fan. Quieter that way and air circulates more evenly as my bed is in the corner of the room whereas the FCU is in the middle (blowing towards the legs) and even with the louvre angled towards the head, also quite limited.

I also find this configuration most optimal in terms of electricity efficiency compared to higher fan speed (through the FCU) instead of complimenting with ceiling / wall fan.

Seriously set on fan speed to max ?
Would be jet sound? How to get sleep as well?
I use starmex R32, set on fan speed 1, unlike R410a super quiet , plus or minor got little fan noise.

Hi All,
My installation of ME Starmex System 4 installation is tomorrow from Harvey Norman. The installation contractor is *Easycool Aircon Servicing*. Please advise is it worth buying the extended warrant from HN? Is it also good to have yearly service plan with service contractors or do adhoc services as and when needed.
Is it good to do a regular service such as quarterly or half-yearly?
Thanks for advise.

Some extended need you to service your ac from authorized agent else they can void your warranty. Do check it.

If u dont mind can diy a bit, it will save your money, and if money not important then get someone to clean every 3 to 4 month depend on how often u use your ac

My friend install cause too many build in.

And don't want fcu to be trap between 2 build in and door.

So put beside door and use plump.

I guessing other cause limited area for fcu to be installed

Hi all, may i know what is the power consumption for a 9k + 12k fancoil with 4H33VG compressor running at 24c low fan speed?
Just change my aircon 1 month ago, realise today from sp app that the power consumption increased a lot compared to when just installed.
Any kind soul can help to explain?
