Anyway, your initial power used is rather high, due to the lack of current limiter.after midnight; it seems normal to me that every hour it uses 0.75kW of electricity. This is within my own estimates as long as temp doesn’t go crazy.

it could be due to showering and hot air or other factors not known
Previously also at my old flat with the same usage and equipments i only pay about 200 max per mth.

Panasonic compressor does not have current limiter? I can't find it in instructions manual. Anyways so should I take the mkm75vvmg or mkm85vvmg? Based on my new 12k+9k+9k all 3 turned on usage with 25 deg.

75 = 7.5kw x 3412 = 25k btu vs 8.5 x 3412 = 29k btu, lol more or less like the starmex system 3 28VG.
I guess you go for 75VVMG for more energy saving

daikin specs here
https://www.daikin.com.sg/resources...DAI R32 Residential Catalogue-Web version.pdf

75 normal rate 1.22kw vs 85 normal rate 1.71kw/h

Need to talk kWh usage, not final bill.

List down the items that uses electricity in new and old house:

fridge
Storage heater
Induction cooker
Oven

etc

Actually the fridge is quite efficient. Especially the inverter models.
the guzzlers are oven, Aircon, storage heaters left on, kettle flask left on, gaming rigs, induction cookers.
Fans, lights, washing machine with cold water consumes not much
Chest freezer. My plan is to power on few hr a day is enough and is way more efficient then the normal fridge.

My guzzler is oven and storage heater

Induction cooker can combined with thermal cooker and pc with mini pc

This is a misconception. While a compressor with a low capacity will have a lower initial power, it will require a longer duration to cool the room to the same temperature, the total power consumption will be far higher when it had to operate at 100% load. The current it consumed has to be maintained higher for longer duration due to the 100% load and the efficiency falls as the result.

Anyway, I recheck the technical spec, you are right to say this. The difference of higher power use is not very obvious or they are considered very similar for different condenser capacity.

Having a bigger condenser is still better as long as the room is well sealed and the sizing is correct.

My floor plan 25 deg fan speed 2. 12 to 18hours a day. 200 to 331 kwh on avg for every month. Wonder if 12k+9k+9k a mkm75vvmg is sufficient for cooling and efficient for electricity. As my current 9k+9k+9k and cu-4xu33ybz is guzzling electricity.

Your master bedroom size equals to common room size. Daikin 75 more than enough
If you would like to consider 100VVMG doesn’t issue. Since you can pay highest electricity bills.

So meaning to say 85 would be better in terms of cooling efficiency and energy savings compared to 75?

But the rated btu for 75 is not 25kbtu.

refer on page 27 (8.5A 75vvmg) 25+25+35 , 6kw to 6.95kw = 20k to 23k btu or without the limiter
6-8.16 = 27.8k BTU maximums loads , if 27k btu maximum loads still not able to cover your 3 bedrooms, daikin can close shop better don’t selling aircon anymore.

just take 85.

But is think the power draw could be due to other factors.

your 0.75kW power draw indicates it is providing 4.0kW +/- 13.6K of cooling. Normally it would need 3.5+3.7+4.5 or 11.7K BTU (50%) to maintain temperature

do you have a computer running in one of the rooms?

Hi all, may i know what is the power consumption for a 9k + 12k fancoil with 4H33VG compressor running at 24c low fan speed?
Just change my aircon 1 month ago, realise today from sp app that the power consumption increased a lot compared to when just installed.
Any kind soul can help to explain?

Update:

service man came today. Gauge show low gas pressure. Tested all joints but no sign of leakage.
