Using condensate tablet to test out on my AC. i tested it for 4 cycle aka 4 month.

in short the tablet if you partly remove drain pan to put the whole tablet in or if you dont want remove drain pan, it will work also but you need to chop into 8pcs (4 pc or half a tablet i have mix result)

so using this

if you remove drain pan you can put 2 inside here at the very end of the corner

if you cut a tablet, you need to cut into 8small pcs, or 16pc for 2 tablet
EtTcex8.jpeg

it will rest on the side of the drain pan

water will then turn green. but it lasted for 2 to 3 times as in it dissolve fast

not sure if it work or not, this is my drain pan when nv been clean before for over 8 mth. it still wet cause my on my AC for over 15hr and then 45min of fan mode ( it seem 45min of fan mode is not enough, maybe 1.3hr of fan mode)

My latest drama starts with finding the floor mat being wet. Then I found the leaking water is due to FCU... again. I took out a wet vacuum to suck out some slime at the bottom of the drain pipe. All the water clogged up came rushing out. I had neglected to put the condensate pill regularly.

Next, the aircon is not cold yet again. I used this Starmex 24/7
So I used the Bosch pressure washer with soap solution (Supersteam 306) .
Unbelievable; the black stuffs that came out during the washing.
Now FCU is cold again, even at setting of 27 deg.

I find that I need to use the pressure washer with soap solution, to really clean it out.
I tried without soap solution, or without the pressure washer (just tap water), it doesn't clean very well.

if possable should use Alkaline Coil Cleaner

https://www.horme.com.sg/product.as...MIx7GJ8KKwiQMVkaVmAh2P4QvxEAYYASABEgKDVvD_BwE
https://www.akron.com.sg/specialtychemicals/902-alkaline-coil-cleaner

leave it on... then wait for at least 30-1hr then wash away with water...
I wouldn't advice it. Alkaline cleaner usually contains sodium hydroxide. It eats aluminum.
I'd rather find a neutral cleaner which doesn't harm the metal and plastic. Bleach is a no-no too. It also destroy metal.

I am currently using garden hose spray...I suspect the press gun nozzle may not have enough pressure to push out the gunk

Is there some kind of gun I can attach to my garden hose reel to have more pressure? Thanks

No matter what attachment that focus the water spray; pressure is limited to your source, which is the tap.
You need a high pressure washer. If you see the cleaner cleaning the floors, they use high pressure washer.
The safe pressure washer to use is the Bosch EasyAquatek, 100 bar, https://www.bosch-diy.com/sg/en/p/easyaquatak-100-06008a7eb0

I tried the orange tab from Shopee. Cut 1 tab into 4 pcs. After just 1 night, all 4pcs dissolved completely.

How long does your green tab last?

Can you explain what you mean when you said “4 pc or half a tablet i have mix result”?

Thanks

Oh I see.

The tab I bought claimed only 4mm in thickness, I actually can break it with my hands. All the 4 broken pcs actually reached and touched the bottom of the tray, not stuck halfway. Probably that is why mine dissolved completely just over a night.

:) Thanks, saw your post and decided to search further on fancoil detergent and found this as so far I am using fancoil spray foams but not so effective removing some hardened dirt. Will like to add the detergent into the electric sprayer directly.

Anyone used this specialized fancoil detergent (CLEANBEE AIRCON COIL CLEANER ALKALINE BASE 1500 5L) before? The review looks good but they says will bite your skin, if bite skin, it means will also bite metal? Thanks.
