You can't really blame anyone—Lee Kuan Yew set the bar too high. LKY was essentially synonymous with the PAP. While many of his policies might not be as effective in today’s era, there’s no denying his iron-fisted leadership and sheer determination in transforming Singapore into a global powerhouse. Unfortunately, he passed the baton to someone who lacked the same passion and drive to serve the nation as he did.
not all credits goes to old man, he was surrounded by great talents, pap old guards brought singapore to current state

Dear chongquan82,

Please remember PAP has given us the climate, assurance, SG60 and many exclusive vouchers. This is a innovative government.

Oppositions have only given scandals and noises in parliament debates, as loud as the influencers.

Confidence for the future. More good years ahead... Let us take Singapore forward together.
Thank you.
confidence your ba------- lah

The next parliament will comprise 97 elected Members of Parliament, up from the current 93, with each MP representing 28,384 voters – slightly fewer than in the last election

Congrats to the 4 new selected individuals to be earning 15k allowance monthly!

Based on the recent electoral boundary changes for the 2025 General Election in Singapore, here are some possible gerrymandering techniques that might have been applied:

  1. Cracking:
    • Jurong GRC: The splitting of Jurong GRC into Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC and Jurong Central SMC could be seen as an attempt to dilute the opposition's influence by spreading their voters across multiple constituencies.
    • Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC: The creation of Pasir Ris-Changi GRC and Punggol GRC from parts of Pasir Ris-Punggol GRC might be an effort to dilute the opposition's voting strength by redistributing voters.
  2. Packing:
    • Aljunied GRC: The redrawing of boundaries to move some polling districts from Aljunied GRC to Tampines GRC could be seen as an attempt to concentrate opposition voters into fewer districts, thereby reducing their influence in other areas.
  3. Hijacking:
    • Punggol West SMC: The absorption of Punggol West SMC into the new Punggol GRC might force incumbents to compete against each other, potentially weakening their chances of re-election.
  4. Kidnapping:
    • Bukit Batok SMC: The removal of Bukit Batok SMC and its absorption into Jurong East-Bukit Batok GRC could be seen as an effort to move an incumbent's home address into a different district, making it harder for them to win re-election.
These techniques can significantly impact election outcomes and voter representation. If you have any specific concerns or need more details about these changes, feel free to ask!

Now is basically like C&C checkmate.
