Did Singtel literally pushed out a firmware update to patch self bridging WAN option? No more Internet option only limited to IPTV when you select Bridge Mode ONR (nokia 240X-A) login-ed with support username @xiaofan

I do not think so. It seems to me you did not follow the correct method mentioned earlier.

Unfortunately I do not have the Nokia XS-240X-A ONR to help you. I am using ZTE F8648P ONR.

Please follow exactly the following steps mentioned by @jaster7 for your Nokia XS-240X-A ONR. You may have to post screenshots for every step you do and then maybe others can help you better.

https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/...-gbps-enhanced.7030365/page-17#post-154679820
I recently got the 3gbps plan. Was issued with Nokia XS-240X-A ONR and installed 2 days ago.

Followed the guide found in the forum to set to bridge for LAN1 (10G) port and connected my OPNsense router. So far, very stable, didn't notice any issues. My OPNsense router only has 2.5G, and speedtest showing about 2.1Gbps speed, which is normal.

For setting the LAN port as bridge, I also login to superadmin using "support" as username, and the password is the reverse of what was printed on the label at the bottom of the ONR.
Selected "Create a new Connection" in the Network->WAN page, Connection mode set as "Bridge mode", "Enable/Disable" is ticked.
I also set the VLAN according to what was shown for the original WAN connection, which is in my case: "Enable VLAN" is ticked and the "IP mode" set to "Add svlan", with "VLAN ID" as 10, didn't change the "VLAN PRI" which is default 0. And just tick the LAN port to bind, which in my case is LAN 1, only. My OPNsense router did not need to set any VLAN on the WAN side, just normal DHCP client on WAN side.

YMMV, I do not have any other services connected to the ONR, such as TV box or phone line. Not sure if this settings will affect those or not.
Bridge at your own risk.
Just wanted to update the forum, since I am very grateful to achieve this bridging setup with Singtel's ONR due to reading these forums.

I think Singtel truly did patch self Bridging Mode, If you look at the screenshot I provided Im at WAN page > Create new connection too my service is only limited to IPTV and unable to add any custom values when Add svlan as seen from the greyed out boxes. Can anyone else confirm?

Standard disclaimer:
YMMV. Proceed at your own risk. You may brick the ONR and then you may need to pay Singtel to recover.

That "IPTV" checkbox no need to tick, you should tick the checkbox "Enable/Disable".

You should also tick "Enable VLAN" checkbox.

IP mode --> Add svlan

VLAN ID --> 10

VLAN Pri --> 0

LAN Port binding --> Tick "LAN1" checkbox (10G LAN port).

Then click "SAVE" and see how it goes.

If you have changed the normal admin password, change it back to the original one printed on the label. Then try it again.

Super admin account --> "support" as user name, reverse of the normal admin password printed on the label.

For Singtel ONR, you have to deleted the Singtel VLAN profile on your own router connected to the ONR LAN port, no matter bridged or not-bridged.

The Singtel VLAN Profile is only for Singtel ONT (legacy 500Mbps/1gbps plan only, and not the legacy Singtel Unlimited Plan which did not require Singtel VLAN).

Noticed that there was firmware update waiting on the MySingtel App for the F8648P.

Pushed it to the router and it took about 5 - 6 minutes to update. It's now on the V2.1.10P5N20B firmware.

Quick check on the support login, and it seems that they removed the bridging ports on the Fast Setting page.

Was your ONR bridged before this update? And if so, is bridge mode still working after the update?

Hi @xiaofan, Do you know if it is allowed or able to get 3 separate WAN IP? Currently, I have Nokia 240 ONR and 2 Routers, I have only bridged a port for 1 Router, Planning to do the same for my 2nd router. I think I recall reading something about you can only get up to 2 WAN IP from Singtel. But technically if I bridge a 2nd port, that port will also receive a new WAN IP so not sure if I should do it.

That should work, but be careful when you change router in that case.

Take note the ONR (unbridged port) will still own one IPv4 address, so you are getting three IPv4 addresses at the same time if you bridged two ports.

As per previous reports, if you get 4 different IPv4 address within 24 hours by attaching four routers with different MAC addresses, you may lose internet for 24 hours. This will happen if you change one of the two routers to another one.

Rebooting your own router and get another IPv4 address is not an issue as it is still using the same MAC address.

Hi. Thanks for routing me here. Few probably dumb questions.
- How do I access the Singtel ONR page after I enable bridging mode?
- I have the old big box Singtel Mio TV during the 1+1 Gamer plan. What settings do I use? VLAN 10?

1) Connect a computer to the unbridged SingTel ONR port and go to 192.168.1.254.

2) No VLAN needed for ONR (no matter bridged or not bridged). SingTel TV Box must be connected to the unbridged ONR port.

This is tame as your SingTel 1+1 plan with the GPON ONR. For the 1+1 plan, one ONR port is officially bridged by SingTel. The other three ports are not bridged. SingTel TV Box must be connected to the unbridged ONR port.

SingTel VLAN profile is only needed for legacy SingTel ONT users.

Thanks! Would setting VLAN 10 affect anything? I've already did it before reading your reply and things seems to work fine.

Have you bridged the ONR?

Where do you set the VLAN? Your own router?

By right it will not work.
Yup I bridged the ONR on LAN 1. I set the VLAN on the ONR too. I basically followed your steps below.

That is correct. VLAN needs to set up in the ONR, but not on your own router.

Hi thanks for the reply. So even if I set VLAN (and I don't need it) on the ONR it's still perfectly fine right? I don't have to go back to the ONR and disable VLAN?
2) No VLAN needed for ONR (no matter bridged or not bridged). SingTel TV Box must be connected to the unbridged ONR port.

Helloo may i know with this, what are the ways to bridge it? My nokia ONR was faulty. SingTel came and change and end up with a ZTE ONR with this firmware.

Now i cant bridge it further.
