Ya since need to eat meds liao might as well. Why waste the effort. :s13:
The most important marker to focus on isn’t LDL but the triglyceride‑to‑HDL ratio. You should keep it below 2, preferably under 1.5, although statin therapy can make this increasingly difficult.

Everyday slow jog 5km in more than 40mins, 7km/hr very slow jogging, abit faster than brisk walking. Concern on joints too hehe.

With some situp, pushup, pull up.
It would be prudent to assess oxidized cholesterol levels and evaluate underlying metabolic dysfunction before increasing exercise intensity rather than just on LDL, as failure to do so could worsen his overall health.

This eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) result shows:

🧪 eGFR (CKD-EPI) Value: 85 mL/min/1.73m²

✅ Interpretation:

  • Normal kidney function — eGFR is well above 60, which is considered the lower threshold for normal.
  • No signs of chronic kidney disease (CKD) based on this result alone.
  • This is especially reassuring if paired with a normal creatinine level.

ℹ️ What eGFR Tells Us:

  • eGFR estimates how well the kidneys filter waste.
  • A value of 85 suggests the kidneys are functioning normally.

⚠️ Caveats (as noted in the report):

  • May be less accurate in elderly individuals or during pregnancy.
  • Not suitable for adjusting medication doses.
  • Should always be interpreted together with other clinical information (e.g. creatinine, urinalysis, comorbidities).

✅ In summary:

This is a healthy eGFR result, with no immediate concern regarding kidney function, assuming the person is not elderly or pregnant.

What's the bad effect of having low HDL?

Link: Primary Low Level of High-Density Lipoprotein Cholesterol and Risks of Coronary Heart Disease, Cardiovascular Disease, and Death: Results From the Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis

(Extract)

Conclusion

The results of our study showed that participants with primary low HDL cholesterol had higher risks of CHD and CVD than participants with optimal lipid profiles but no change in median 10-year survival. Further studies are needed to explore any causality between primary low HDL cholesterol and CVD and long-term mortality.
