tried already. disabled second sim. so only 1 primary sim card, zym. -> cannot call out.
moved sim to card to a spare phone. -> cannot call out.
see screenshot below, no Vo5G?

Zym could not possibly have Vo5G at this point. Wait for next year.
VoLTE should work.
Does calling work under 5G auto or 4G ?

Only thing I can think of is VoLTE disabled but that should not be possible in current iphones anymore.
Does inbound phone call works ?
How about SMS in and outbound ?

Might need to talk to Zym.

How about SMS in and outbound ? SMS works both inbound and outbound.
Might need to talk to Zym. -> Inside the "whatsapp queue". Waiting to be served by them.

We already called escalate_to_agent earlier; tool returned. Need to send final WhatsApp-formatted concise paragraph informing user being connected, service hours, wait time, and offer to stay or continue with Erica. Also include apology and that escalation priority set urgent. Must be <=80 words, single paragraph, use bullet list when listing multiple items — none. Use double line breaks? Brand: single paragraph and when listing multiple items, use bullet list. So one paragraph. Let's craft ~40 words.

Include that escalation urgent and live agent connecting; mention hours and average wait 4 hours. Offer continue chatting. Use bold for emphasis maybe on "You are being connected". But avoid bolding times. Ok.

Check if you have call barring for outgoing activated :)

problem solved. guided by a guy in eight telegram group
i used to hide my caller ID for Simba e-sim line. now duno why it is still in effect when i have terminated it.
anyway, the guy asked me to try Hiding Caller ID (*31#) and unhiding Caller ID (#31#).
It worked!

I just signed up for Zym $10.10 plan. porting over from eight since their 4G speeds have dropped ever since they implemented 5G. Hopefully my experience will be better here.

Coverage and speed, should be better for 180days assuming you are connecting to their 5G services, after that whether you get to continue 5G or not is anybody's guess and up to Zym. Falling back to 4G may be roughly the same or so, depending on where you use the service.

I just ported from eight as well. First day only, had a 2-3 of connection issue. Signal still show full bar 5g but no internet connection for a minute or so. :eek:


Was annoyed by eight's preferred Malaysia experience, by default connection to Maxis, but had been erratic with no data/network issue since mid this year, had to manually switch to Celcom or other partner. Had no issue with my native Hotlink card which also uses Maxis. Eight SG speed has also dropped quite a lot since i ported in early this year or late last year.

I also get this but i think this sim last for 1 yr from the time u sign up only.
