Actually what makes you think going with other ISPs you will get 0% downtime? After you hopped to another and there’s also downtime how?
fyi I’m also using VQ and it’s down now too but it’s not too crazy frequently so I can still endure. There was intermittent downtime last night but it was resolved shortly.
Then u should change ba. Just that you will likely experience same thing or worse too at some point of time.Twice in the span of a few days, and extended down times too not just intermittent. No one expects 0% but this is clearly unacceptable. I have been with VQ for a long time and it has gotten worse.

Go other ISP thread and see if it’s all rosy there or not. To me, none of the ISPs is better than one another in terms of reliability and service.
also, my area (Bedok) is up now.
So just curious why switch out? Usually ppl are not satisfied with the previous ISP and switch. Then it’s a gamble whether it’s better, same, or worse for them. We just have to find the least problematic ISP specific to our area but the issue is, who can be sure?I have for many years used whizcom and honestly, encountered lesser problems for years, compared to just less than 6 months with VQ, so I think it's a fair statement, at least for my experience
Went down for 8 minutes in SBW. heng got dual WAN, didn't feel a thing.
What ISP are you using for backup? Past few days has been ridiculous.Went down for 8 minutes in SBW. heng got dual WAN, didn't feel a thing.
imho.. that is true for any ISP.VQ is a good ISP, only when you intend to run it with a backup WAN.
M1.What ISP are you using for backup? Past few days has been ridiculous.

When was this announced? Many of the power users in this forum use M1 + VQ or M1 + MR. Starhub should be a fine choice as well as a backup ISP for VQ users.
For stability, there were stability issues with MR and Starhub in 2024. But for the most unstable ISP in this forum in 2025, or for recent years overall (2018 to 2025), it has to be VQ based all the reports.
That being said, the following will improve VQ stability based on the reports here.
1) DO NOT use VQ DNS.
2) Get static IPv4 add on
3) Request for Static IPv6 (free upon request)
4) Use a powerful router
When was this announced?
din know VQ can req free ipv6

Caveats:
- On 5G SA network only.
- iOS carrier profile only enables IPv4 by default (Checked on iPhone 13 iOS 17.5.1, carrier bundle 58.0). You'd need to enable IPv6 using a custom APN config profile.
- On Android, you'd need to enable IPv6 in APN settings.M1 Yes End point receives a routed /64 prefix
Supports DNS64/NAT64
Supported NVMO: CirclesSimba Yes End point receives a routed /64 prefix
Caveats:
- Unsolicited inbound traffic blocked
- Enabling IPv6 support on iOS requires installing a custom configuration profile with cellular APN configurations
