Some people say, the above average man is just an average woman....

Most of the reasons are valid what. You mean a guy will enjoy dating a gal who is rude, disrespectful, narcissistic, egoistic, stingy and calculative?
Exactly. if a girl insists the guy pays, then she's stingy and calculative.

imma acherly discovered charbohs make chu pay is to make it seem like chu are a potential interest but is also to see how malleable and agreeable chu are. imma also found out if she dontch like chu at all, she will never let chu pay for her.

Actually it seems like only in edmw it becomes a problem. A long time ago when i went for casual dates, i would offer to pay for my share but iirc all e guys would reject and just pay for the meal. Price ranged from fast food to eateries like hk style cafe, ichiban those kind. Then I'd pay for dessert or movie.

10+ 20 bucks food, i can definitely pay for myself. But please don't AA down to the cents lol. Last time no paylah, still need to count coins lol

The guys you knew twenty years ago are of a different breed from the current generation.. 😂

In my opinion, guys should not be calculative over the cost of a casual meal. I would assume that it took these chaps way more time and effort to ask a girl out for a date. No reason to throw everything away for the cost of a casual meal.

Spot on. First impression they give the girl is calculative and afraid that the girl will take advantage of them. It's probably only $40-50 max, they think the girl beggar go out spend time with them just to cheat them 40-50 bucks. ;)

Get a 3rd party company or app to have the expense split so that neither party feels obligated to meet the next time when the experience turns sour.

Yes I believe most women not like that, not like they themselves cannot pay. And most of the time the first few dates will not be expensive places anyway. I just take it that I'm paying to thank the girl for spending time with me, so we can get to know each other better.

In today’s society most people can easily can employed and easily pay for ownself.. not like post war or our parents time

I feel both should have this mindset that you need to be thankful someone is interested to spend their free time where they could have been resting shaking leg eating kacang and they chose you to spend their time which they made free because of you.

But there are always outliers and no point focusing on the outliers, just do make ourselves worthy to be a good candidate for the right opportunity: this I feel is more worthwhile than dwelling on bad experiences. Bad experiences are good lessons and jokes to remember hahah

Because someone told the man "if you don't pay for the first date, you'd send a message telling the girl you just want to be friends" while telling the woman "if you offer to pay for your share and he accepts, don't go out with him on the second date". And they both listened.

No doubt letting girl pay on first date would minus some points, but I think if the girl likes the guy, she will still go on the second date with him. Otherwise, it is even better if she paid for her share on the first date because no need to feel bad for rejecting second date.

Too much mind games. That's why I just match to chat only nowadays :o no need to concern who pay for their share of the date. Life is short. Just enjoy no need to fuss about all these. If guys don't mind paying, it's better to be sure it's spare cash so not so heart pain.

Actually the same can be said of the girl who offer to pay her share but actually it's just a test to see if he accepts. That's not really paying. That's just a freaking test.

Join interest group together. Win win situation.

If either party aint interested in each other, enjoy the activity for that once.

Otherwise, let's keep the game going. :flash:

But dont spend too much time scratching things on the surface. Get to know her family background, double check and interview discreetly.

Relationship is between 2 consenting parties but to escalate to marriage, please think twice.

Marriage is a union of 2 families. If the other family is constantly in poverty due to some godly reasons, stay far far away. Divorce is a good option to protect own family wealth.
