In my opinion, guys should not be calculative over the cost of a casual meal. I would assume that it took these chaps way more time and effort to ask a girl out for a date. No reason to throw everything away for the cost of a casual meal.

Yes I believe most women not like that, not like they themselves cannot pay. And most of the time the first few dates will not be expensive places anyway. I just take it that I'm paying to thank the girl for spending time with me, so we can get to know each other better.

I feel both should have this mindset that you need to be thankful someone is interested to spend their free time where they could have been resting shaking leg eating kacang and they chose you to spend their time which they made free because of you.

Too much mind games. That's why I just match to chat only nowadays no need to concern who pay for their share of the date. Life is short. Just enjoy no need to fuss about all these. If guys don't mind paying, it's better to be sure it's spare cash so not so heart pain.
