@xiaofan
I have disabled EasyMesh, assigned SSIDs and same passwords on both nodes.
all working well, except when I initiate reboot on a router, the IoT devices will connect to the other one and stayed there.
So what I did was to block clients on the node that is further away e.g., digital locks will be blocked on 2nd node which is further away from the digital lock.

IMHO.
Any idea if BE805 running a pair as MESH, at 6Ghz, how fast can they talk to each other let's say 10m, while the 5Ghz band use for devices?

Just noticed three back-to-back incidents for living, study and master bedrooms.

When my TVs are powered on, they are connected to wifi. BUT no internet connection. Have to toggle wifi on and off a few times then can. I did power off and on again a few times to make sure this is not one-off incident.

i unblocked the MAC addresses of my TVs on my main node, problem goes away but at times my tv will connect to the main node 😓😓😓😓😓

any workaround to this?

Sorry no ideas here.

All in all, TP-Link EasyMesh is not so good. The AP mode is a potential workaround but it may or may not work for your use case.

Why not so good ? :ROFLMAO:
Last time I use simple APs, different SSID, I just set the power to lower, when i move from one location to another, my mobile phone just connect to the stronger signal. :ROFLMAO:
That time MESH not popular yet.

Now things are a bit more complicated with the mix of WiFi 7/6/5 devices and IoT devices.

1. TP-Link EasyMesh FAQ
https://www.tp-link.com/sg/support/faq/3529/

Q13. Does TP-Link EasyMesh system support syncing Guest or IoT Network settings across the main router and satellite nodes?

A. Currently, the TP-Link EasyMesh system does not synchronize the Guest network or IoT Network settings across the main router and the connected satellite nodes. The EasyMesh satellite nodes will only sync the main wireless network settings.

We will address this in future updates to improve the overall configuration and management experience of the TP-Link EasyMesh system. Any updates will be communicated through our official channels.

2. Review of TP-Link EasyMesh:
https://dongknows.com/tp-link-easymesh-wi-fi-system-review/

Pros

  • Lots of hardware options
  • Relatively easy to set up and use
  • Flexible wireless and wired backhaul (with applicable hardware)
  • Responsive web interface with optional Tether mobile app

Cons

  • Minimum control of the satellite; no wired backhauling for extenders with a network port
  • Wireless backhaul can be complicated, no MLO with Wi-Fi 7, no virtual SSDs (Guest Wi-Fi, IoT, etc.) at the satellite
  • Seamless hand-off reliability could be better

Yours is export set or what?
My OP13 and OP15 both using 6GHz no problem.

You mistaken is it, OP11 don’t support 6GHz leh
From Google. OP11/12 6gbz many users has same issues.

The OnePlus 11 5G supports Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) capability, enabled by its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and Qualcomm FastConnect 7800 system.

The OnePlus 11 5G technically supports Wi-Fi 6E/7 (6GHz) via its Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, but users frequently report it is disabled or unavailable due to regional firmware restrictions or, in some cases, specific router incompatibilities. While some regions may have it enabled, many users (particularly in Southeast Asia) find the 6GHz band blocked by software, even if local regulations allow it.

Support BE doesn't automatically mean that it supports 6GHz. You go check SG specs. Only support 2.4/5GHz only.

Oh no wonder so OP11/12 does not support wifi 7 6ghz. No wonder other users also experience same issues.

Thanks for clarifying.

OP11 confirm no support. OP12 a bit weird. It says support 6E but frequency only support 5.8GHz. That’s not 6GHz. That’s UNII4 only.

@xiaofan seeking your expertise. Do you know why I can't select Port Forwarding or DMZ under NAT Forwarding on my BE805? Port Triggering and UPnP no problem I can click on them and their respective menu will appear on the right side.
