Dear all,

I have encountered with the people from these 2 companies. Almost get conned, but managed to get my deposit back. But before they hand me that refund cheque, they threatened to bill me the backlog of the CVC subscription fees "owed". I ignored them on that. I am thinking of going to CASE and the CAD to lodge a formal complaint next week.

After my experience with these 2 companies - Concept Club Service; Connection Tours and Travel, I think they are obviously run by the same group of scumbags.

First Concept Club Services' official address is at POMO, Selegie Road.
So I have been wondering, WHY DO THEY SET UP A "BRANCH OFFICE" AT ORCHARD TOWERS ????
And just beside Connection Tours and Travels ?
My theory is they use that as a "phantom branch" for them to conduct illegal activities such as pretending to represent CVC to scam CVC members when in actual fact, CVC has NO relationship with Concept Club Services.

I suspect that they do it so that if and when the Orchard Tower "branch" get into trouble with the law, they will just shut down that Orchard Towers "branch", so that their company, officially registered to be at POMO is not liable. They (the main company at POMO) can deny they ever have had any branch operating at Orchard Towers. They can claim that some other people is misusing their company brand without their knowledge. I may be wrong, but my guess is that they did not declare in the ROC that they have a branch at Orchard Towers.

On the activities they are conducting, promising returns to CVC members in "few months" time. Returns that sound too good to be true. They told me to put $10K with them for few months time (whatever is the purpose of this money is for), and get back as much as $40K in a few months time.

This is obviously a PYRAMID scam scheme that they are operating. Even if you are lucky enough to get paid by them, the money you are getting is just the money that they scammed from other CVC members. All the paper works on contract termination are probably just for show and fake. The so-called lawyer that they arranged you to meet is probably not a lisenced or still-practicing lawyer. Maybe he is not even a lawyer at all for all we know.

Its time for all CVC members and other timeshare members to make a stand and stop giving these scumbags any more of our hard earned money.
Its time to put them out of business.

Would like to alert Concepts Vacation Club (CVC) Members to exercise caution when dealing with these 3 companies:

1. Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd @ POMO Building

• claimed to be the authorised service centre for CVC, including collection of maintenance fees from CVC Members
• company's logo looks like CVC
• has old documents from the defunct LGM Singapore Branch

2. Connection Tours & Travel @ Orchard Towers

• according to CVC's website, this company is the corporate office in Singapore
• claimed to be servicing CVC Members too and said that Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd is related to CVC

3. Dynamikz Netwerkz @ Orchard Towers

• Connection Tours & Travel uses this company's letterhead and rubber stamp in the documentation for a timeshare-related transaction

NOTE:

1. Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd and Connection Tours & Travel have a business relationship;

2. CVC Membership Services has however confirmed that CVC does not have any relationship with Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd;

3. To date, CVC Membership Services has not verified the information provided in CVC's website stating that Connection Tours & Travel is CVC's corporate office in Singapore.

Perhaps you may be ignorant, here are some of the facts again:

1. Connection Tours & Travel @ Orchard Towers is merely a travel agency. This company has an active business relationship with Concepts Club Services and told me that the latter is indeed related to CVC.

However upon checking, CVC claimed that "they do not have any relationship with Concepts Club Services nor endorse or believe Concepts Club Services can assist" CVC members.

2. Connection Tours & Travel @ Orchard Towers also offered their services to assist me to recover monies from my CVC's Cash Reward Scheme that had lapsed in 2010. I was taken aback when I saw the agreement. It was not what I had been told but rather a Purchase Agreement for Club Dynamikz; and this company was actually representing Dynamikz Netwerkz.

Upon checking, Concepts Programmes Admin Ltd confirmed with me that I cannot make any claim since my CVC's Cash Reward Scheme had lapsed. As such, I cancelled the agreement and had a tough time getting back my deposit. With Connection Tours & Travel being irresponsible and not helpful, I had to deal direct with Dynamikz Netwerkz. By the way, the overdue cheque for my refund was issued by Concepts Club Services.

3. I wrote to CVC again to complain about Connection Tours & Travel for misleading me (and perhaps many other CVC members too) that Concepts Club Services is related to CVC. However, I did not receive a reply but instead I found out that CVC has put up a notice in their website to advise members not to deal with Concepts Club Services.

4. By the way, Concepts Club Services is now also operating in the same premise as Connection Tours & Travel.

They claim they are appointed by Carryway to help member terminate their membership.

Yeah! Agreed 100%! I think this joker is Damien the "Evil Child" He's one of them. To all timeshare Victims ignore this joker.

Just recd a threatening letter frm CCS saying that we owe them Annual Fees $1782 and must be settle within the next 7 days, that is the day we should get our refund of the 2K deposit that we hv paid them. Connection Tours, CCS.. They are all scammers. We should expose them immediately. This hv been going for too long. When I look at this thread, I realize that more & more people are getting conned by these scumbags evryday!

Let's be honest. Your Connection Tours & Travels has 0 business. The few times I was there and that scam company beside your scam "travel agency", I don't see a single customer.
All I see is you scumbags walking in and out doing nothing, waiting for CVC members to be scammed so that you can have your next pay cheque.

CCS was unable to do so as I confronted Bobby Wiranto (Manager) with the following email confirmations to cancel the Service Agreement:

1. From CVC

"Dear sir,

Our records indicate your membership was a 5 year membership and expired in 2010. It is not perpetual. You have no membership to terminate.

Concepts Club Services Pte Ltd is not related to Concepts Vacation Club. Our accounts department have not confirmed or had any correspondence in relation to your membership with this company.

We do not have any relationship with this company nor endorse or believe they can assist with anything that you have outlined below.

2. From Concepts Programmes Admin Ltd

"Dear Client,

Unfortunately you can not qualify for the Cash Reward as the last qualifying date has now passed, as per the Terms and Conditions clause 3

Clause 3 of the Terms and Conditions state:
The Applicant must forward the remaining part of his original copy of the completed Registration Form, the invoice (or proof of ownership or proof of payment) and proof of identity (i.e. certified or notarised copies of both a passport, identification card or other photographic identification and a utility bill or other address idenification) to the Administration Centre address indicated overleaf by registered post so that it is received by the Company at any time within but not before or AFTER the 30 (thirty) day period immediately prior to the Payment Date (as stated in the Confirmation Letter). ...... No reminders will be given.

The Payment Date in the Confirmation Letter dated 25th August 2005 was 30th September 2010, as per the Terms and Conditions outlined above the last qualifying date was 30th September 2010. As this date has now passed we cannot accept any documentation for the Cash Reward.

Clause 13 of the Terms and Conditions also states:
The time limits in clauses 2 and 3 shall be of the essence. Failure to comply with either or both of the registration processes referred to in clauses 2 and 3 above will result in the Applicant losing his entitlement to the Reward.

As the Terms and Conditions have not been met you do not qualify for the Cash Reward.

Bobby Wiranto was speechless as he told me earlier that all queries to CVC will be redirected to him for reply and probably did not anticipate this to happen so quickly (on the 3rd day after signing the Service Agreement).

Yup, recd the demand letter frm connection tours. You don't hv to go down to CASE, I hv already called them just now. Their advise is ignore this letter frm connection tours as u didnt sign anything w them. Just wait for ur refund as per agreement in the termination letter. If they dont pay by then, then u go down to small claims tribunal to report.

Did U give CCS a letter to terminate the agreement within the cooling off period. We were advised by CASE to send them a registered letter of termination. We did that, and we even gave them the same letter personally.
