I paid for $6K membership in Aug 10 to idiscovery VIII. After a few weeks, i calculated the price of the airtickets they offered and found that the price was not attractive. I wanted to terminate the contract, but the company- Cours Montreaux simply refused. Subsequently, i was told if pay up in full, i could sold off my membership. I met this lady called Reena, and i topped up another $6K to sign the contract with Crown Holiday.

I tried to call Reena in Mar 12 to check on the sale of the membership, and i found the no. was the same one as Cours Montreaux. I couldn't get Reena, but was told to contact Wenting instead. I tried calling the company in Apr, and was told to call a new no. This afternoon, i went down to Regency Hse and was shocked to find that the co. has moved to Concourse. The Regency Hse is now known as Crown Holiday Exchange, but the lady told me Wenting is on long leave, and Reena is now with Crown Holiday. I'm confused why Cours Montreaux, idiscovery VIII, Crown Holiday and Crown Holiday Exchange? Who and where should i get an answer from the sale of my membership? I got conned of $12k again?

I advice you not to go to them again. Please go to SCT straight away. Anyway you may want to refer to the link which I posted earlier to see who is behind all these scams.

I think you have been conned an additional time of 6K. There is no such thing as sell the contract for you. It is just trick to con you more. Don't believe them anymore. Even if new company approach you that they can help you sell away your contract, don't believe them anymore.

the experience of how you are conned and your contracts are very useful evidence for us to piece together. Please contact the facebook group "NO to Courz Montreuxx" and provide them with your information. We are collecting information to get hold of them.

I went to Regency Hse yesterday and was referred to the Discovery Group at Concourse. Reception at Concourse said IDiscovery VIII was bought over by The Discovery Group, and the Director is now Jeffrey Chow instead of Jerry Tan. I was told that my contract was with Cours Montreaux In'tl (CMI) at Regency Hse. Yet my credit card bill showed all payment was made to iDiscovery VIII. Nobody in CMI could answer my query regarding the resale of my membership which was signed with Rina at Crown Holiday Exchange. The name card she gave me has the same address and tel no. as CMI. The Regency Hse is renamed as Crown Holiday and Wenting is the only one who can help me, is now a long leave.

Such a big company, yet nobody can assist me. They are not professional at all, there's no manager who can attend to enqueries. I was told to hold on, and it was passed from 1 person to another person. They purposely put me on hold for more than 10 mins, until it was cut-off. Nobody picked up when i called again. The Director Jerry Tan should explain to the members. I wonder how i can recover my $12k, which was paid up in full in Dec 11? Cours Montreaux Int'l, iDiscover VIII, The Discovery, Crown Holiday, Crown Holiday Exchange, aren't they all under the same person? A bunch of unscrupulous companies setup to cheat consumers and very poor service provided! I was told to write in to Wenting, awaiting her reply.

May I request that you go to CASE and SCT straight away, as the time share consultants, they will never answer your queries. Trust me, I went through that stage b4 and I know they are playing time with people like us. They will make sure we give up and let the matter rest. I know $12K is a big sum but why go through the hassle going to them? Go SCT is even faster, if you did not get your $$$ after SCT you may consider the bailiff section in court to investigate and their company might seize. Isn't that better?

May I also suggest to check with ACRA does the company Discovery Group exist as well and check who is their boss and the company share is worth how much...

Anyone has any information with regards to Connection Tours and Travels?
They claim to be representative for CVC and are sending out letters trying to claim back overdue subscription fees dated 2011 to date.

BTW people, Please don't discuss all the strategy and information we find about Jerry tan and his companies. They will have time to prepare and destroy them. Just contact the facebook group. It is a close group, you need to prove yourselves not relating to them and a real victim in order to get in.

I seriously doubt if anyone/company claims that they are able to buy back.
My only concern is that they do not come and bother me, asking me to pay back over due subscription fees, etc Connection Tour & Travels.

Giving me headaches and taking up most of my time to research on them and such.

I seriously wonder if the authorities can put an end to all such TIME-SHARING companies and free us off all these agony?

Perhaps the authorities should look into how to stop them from passing our infro from Comp A to Comp B for start.

BTW, anyone can update me on Connection Tour & Travels?

If any of you, has already just signed up and wanted to cancel and is still "arguing" with them, why not do yourselves and everybody a favor? Use a pinhole camera to record everything they say. Pretend that you may not want to cancel if the package is really good and make them reiterate the promises of all the 4-5 stars hotels. Make them verbally said that and recorded by the pinhole camera hiding in your shirt ( a pen or a watch etc...). trap them with all the important questions. It is even better if you can talk face to face with Jerry tan. Pass the recording to us and we will figure how to use it against them together with other evidences when we go to the police.

I have today received an invoice from Connection Tours & Travel Pte Ltd:
1. Invoice is not an original copy and without a signature.
2. Invoice is also not in my name (anyway, CVC had already confirmed that my membership had expired in 2010).
3. There is also a photostat copy of "Service Agreement For CVC Members" enclosed and it is signed by an anonymous person (basically to inform that "the servicing agreement of all Concepts Vacation Club / Concept Travel Service Pte Ltd customers and members has been transferred to Connection Tours & Travel Pte Ltd Reg No. 199508837D.")

I am a victim as well.

Btw, Henry, I saw another thread, I thought you already get back your refund? I am in the midst of getting back my refund, can we proceed to small claim court even though it is not 60 days?

CASE had told me that I need 60 days before going to Small Claim Court.

I want to go down to Crown Holiday Exchange, before that I want to go to CASE to further highlight on my case. Anybody wants to join me next week sat to go down to CASE then to crown to check on refunds? I can pick you guys up if you are near lake side.

Mine is still under cooling off period as far as CASE sees it. Signed on 12th May, Cancelled on 19th May. No one in Crown mentioned to me regarding cooling off period till the day I re-visited them.

They are suppose to give a notice of cancellation as well. But they didnt and never will.
Dun mention about CASE. If they are really so binded by law or whatever authority, they would not use low class tactics like lucky draw.

So far i know there is a woman name eunice and a man name sherman. Their attitude suck to the core when we wan to cancel. I have not settle my case yet. I rather burn the money to the ghost then give to these blood suckers.
