Not bad if you'd like a good balance between aero and comfort. :) S2 complete bike is $4.4k, same frame as S3, only diff fork. The new R2 is $3,990 for complete bike, same frame as the higher end R3 and same frame shape as the top end R5.

Anybody ride round Taiwan before?

No but giant organizes them complete w bikes and support

Around 1k for 9 days iirc

My wife got in touch with Giant Taiwan to inquire about their RI tours. We were planning to join in the end of of 2015. We were hoping that they will allow my 7 year old daughter to ride in the support vehicle during the ride, but it was refused. Now, looks like cannot go... :(

Those are good also :D But before buying a bike, get a bike fit done first, then select bike size. Or at least go with a friend who knows something about it. Best is to measure your height and inseam for road bike, then find out the stack and reach of the bike frame you're interested and seek an opinion whether it'll fit.

Some frame geometries may be too long (reach) and/or too low (stack) for you to be comfortable on it. Don't let shops throw you any old size. I also kena sold bike sizes too small for me when I first started cycling.

Pros, any recommendation for pedals suitable for off-road? I keep slipping off the stock pedals of my bike so went to try those clipless pedals. End up falling every few hundred meters along the trail with my feet still attached to the pedals :(

Just get those MTB pedals with those studs/screws..

But don't ever hit any of your body parts on those studs. It hurts.
