What is the wlan on this one? Get those dual AC 5ghz ones if you have those faster router and Fiber connection at home.. 5gb of file around > 5mins gaodim liao.. This is one of my consideration other than processor, ram, storage type, portability, screen, price and brand when I shop for my laptop last week.

Do you know how to register the dell warranty? and to buy dell extended warranty?

Consider my warranty voided.. Just replace my sshd with ssd. But I will try buy extended warranty if the dell system detect still allows me..

It's dual AC. Now thinking of upgrading or not the processor. The market value is almost double.

I am with the i5 6200u + 8gb now... Works well with chrome on win10 with 20+ tabs and vlc player with 1080p video playing and running some other small apps on laptop screen + external display. Gaming wise.. Those 3-4 yrs old games on Low settings will probably run fine.

I think 2k plus should be a little on the steep side consider you can get an Asus for around 1.6k..

I got the free 2nd and 3rd warranty worth 160 from Dell Singapore new flagship store at Plaza Singapura when I intended to buy the extended warranty this afternoon :D:D:D!

The Dell staff told me I'm eligible for July promo and only can walk in to claim/register the extended warranty from them which the Best Denki staff never told me when I purchased from Best Denki a week ago :s8: . Luckily I went to Dell new flagship store today else being shortchanged :s22:.

Serious?!

Will have to pay them a visit@ PS soon then...

So far... I think i might not have void any warranty just yet as I very carefully open up my laptop to do the SSD transplant... I still got the original 500gb sshd with me and I just intend to partition it and get a usb3.0 enclousure to use it as an external drive.. so if happens to need warranty.. then i will carefully swap back the drive and send it in... :vijayadmin:

ok bro, the list is out:

http://www3.ntu.edu.sg/CITS2/computerdeals/NB_ShowAll_16.asp

But Asus only one model which is high end one !

So buy HP ?

Thanks
Meh. Hp isn't really that value for money. Try taking a look at the think pad 260 , x1( click the 260 there's a upgrade to X1 option )

Or the surface pro 4.

The retail price of the think pad is insanely high take for example the same i7 spec retail for 3.4k outside its like 2k only in school with 3 years onsite warranty. And it's only 1.1kg.

The dell xps13 is also in.

X1 is better than XPS 13. Definitely more durable and probably have more battery life since NTU's vendor only provide the QHD+ version which sucks a lot of battery.
