2018 Google Pixel 3 and 3XL...😗🎉😵

need help, i noticed when i received a call, the whole screen blackout and i cannot do anything.

for example when i call starhub, i need to input numbers etc but the screen is just not displaying. i cannot end call etc as well.

anyone can advise what setting i screwed up? pixel 3 64gb here

You have something covering your proximity sensor? Like a tgsp?

remember to test your phone if u have applied screen protector
my screen goes blank when call out because i have yet to remove the protective film which blocks the proximity sensor

When I mentioned this few days back lol
Also remember to download dead pixel test app to test screen.

Understand that some screen protector may block the proximity sensor. Does your sp has a cut-out where it doesn't create a block over that sensor? Remove and see if it helps.

i download androsensor app and proximity shows 0.0mA, 0.0 in,
means something block? i put the screen protector

I couldnt upload any image due to insufficient post.

Its' really frustrating. When i look at the screen, photos and all, it;s like the desktop screen being set to a low resolution. Then everything u see is not sharp. Really kinda grainy.

And when i set to the solid grey wallpaper, the top part is obviously darker. with 2 obvious line.

When i opened the box and press the power button, there was a flick from the screen then i press the power button then it start up. At that point, i had a bad feeling liao. It was a new set, sealed.

We might not see the difference in screen brightness but it might affect how the sensor see the spectrum.

No. I bought from a recontract telco seller. it was a sealed set.

Is yours a White 128GB? Cause if it's black, it may have been "old" stocks, as in from earlier productions. I'm assuming the QC will be better in the later productions....

Lol I'm sorry :/ not jinxing myself but apart from having scratches on my iPhone when I unbox and check them on the spot (which I'll ask for a second set) i have been pretty lucky with all my phones.

Hopefully your exchanged set will be perfect

i used the apple gradient test website and this is what i am getting.

I used the deal pixel app to checked and asked my friends feedback and they also agree something is wrong with it.
Its kind of grainy and patchy. Like u know u put a tempered glass on a white screen....(something like that)

Even some of the photos that i took were quite grainy.
Normally the camera AI will sort it out, but mine doesnt.
So i am also unsure id software is sort of "corrupted" Possible anot?

I am not those photos experts just normal user and if i can tell means its really quite jialet.

Even i use Pixel 2 is much better than this quality.

Does anyone else experience similar issue like mine?
