just got my XL and I notice there's a tiny gap between the screen and frame all round. gap is only small enough for paper to slide through.

shining a torchlight into the back camera lens also can see two specks, dust maybe? but doesn't show up on photos so I'm gonna let it slide for now.

read on Reddit the gap seems to be normal though. for $1549, kinda expect the tolerances would be tighter though. haha. not the worse made phone I've seen, but definitely not the best.

That gap was the reason why the loca glue seeped in and I had to use paper to scrape the harden glue out lol.

You do know that pixel comes in 2 sizes and the pixel 3 does not have any notch?

Yes i do know but i am a heavy user, with such small battery capacity and poor battery life, i doubt i will choose pixel 3.

I owned mate 20x, mate 20 pro and pixel 3 xl. 20x for playing games cos the screen big and sound effect damn good. Mate 20 pro for it's camera and lasting camera. Pixel 3 xl I very gian to use as main phone but see the battery life I sian.

Wah do you go out with 3 phones:s13:
I have been using Mi max and mi max 2, big screen are always the best, good for video, game and the battery life is amazing but very inconvenient.

you mentioned you always root..? getting unlock bootloader code through huawei is not possible anymore unless you pay for it(not cheap as well) etc. funkyhuawei.. so rooting is more hassle for huawei device.

Oh **** why do they do this==. I guess now i need to reconsider huawei.

No I don't root my pixel, nowadays no point imo

I need the nanroid backup and titanium backup to backup my apps data without this i find transferring app to new phone or resetting a hassle.
It is easy if you stick with one brand but if you use different brands, the transferring of app and data are always pain in the ass.

Got P3? O.O

Can get from Qoo10 also, list price is $60, you can just wait a couple more day for the weekend $10 coupon (if any), or install the Live10 app to get $10 coupon for new user/installation to bring it down to $50. If you have an existing UV lamp, can get the w/out UV lamp version @ $40 ($50 - $10 coupon discount).
