Mine can last for a day. Think Google optimized the battery usage, unlike other manufacturers just cram bigger batteries.

It didn't last a day for me for the standard pixel 3 as I'm a heavy user.
Perhaps 3xl will be of better battery life but hope pixel 4 can have better display and battery.

It's quite hard to make a comparison.

Some people do a lot of gaming.

Some just use for browsing, calls, message and music.

If you don't game when you're out and just read forums browse social media and texting it'll last you a day.

after a few days of toying around as a secondary phone. I like it a lot. so much so that I am considering using it as the primary phone (current primary phone is XR, find the size too big for my hand)

only thing stopping me now is the lack of Volte and wifi calling on Singtel.. dalima

tried Q beta 3.. no major hickups and can easily be used as a daily driver. but dual sim support has been removed.. hope it comes back in beta 4

It really depends on what you want. I hoot pixel because of the software and camera without regarding much about the other factors like battery or what not. But having used a P3 before, the batt life doesn't stand strong when gaming, depletes quite quickly. So if your light gaming isn't too much P3 might be for you.

I will pick Pixel for the clean software experience. Then size.

Camera is an added bonus.

Battery is totally beyond my consideration when choosing a phone.

Volte and wifi calling works on pixel3 on singtel

I just pop in my singtel sim into pixel3, enabled wifi calling under settings mobile network. then phone settings, calls, wifi calling, select call over wifi.

Testing Volte works
Call when connected to LTE, call connected still on LTE

Testing wifi calling works
On the phone calling screen, there is a wifi icon above the number you are calling.

I only pop in the singtel sim after upgrade to android Q beta 3, so no idea if this support holds true for android P, will test if i ever revert back.
