Way smaller.

I come from the 15” mbp then to 13” unibody and the 15” MBP TB is sleek and very nice to hold/carry.

Speakers are great with the occasional YouTube watching and my processing of RAW files has never been faster. Loooooooovin’ it!

Mine’s a 2016 with 16GB RAM and 4GB Radeon 460.

Imagine 32GB with 4GB Radeon 560...
given the thinness and weight of the laptop. can the lid still be opened with 1 hand? or that's no longer a thing since Steve Job died?

Jus curious.
Nowadays, does new mbp last as long as those mbp in the past?

My 2016 mbp tb already went service center 1 time liao within 1.5yrs.
While my 2013 mbp only went service center once when going reach 3yrs and it's not even a hardware issue. Only the screen coating went off and jus nice Apple ack this issue so I brought it to service center and change the screen.

:p it maybe depends on your luck... my MBP late 2016 never been sent to service center til today (warranty already expired coz never bought any apple care) - more than 2 years

The new version very difficult to say. The old one can last 6-8 years. Maybe design slimmer and slimmer. The components smaller and smaller. Lol!

How do we prove as a student while buying from the edu store?

When buying online, usually Apple will not ask for any proof. I purchased from edu store a few time never kena asked before. However in the T&C it states that Apple has the right to ask for proof and if unable to proof, you’ll need to pay the non-edu price for your Mac.

You could, but I prefer to use both hands.

I only use one hand when it’s not my laptop.

Even with a hard case on, its still pretty slim.

It's the experience and satisfaction buying from the Apple Store.
