DPP takes it from Police CID. but photos not admissible that the PMD was modified and illegal and speeding at 40km/hr on pavement/shared path

plaintiff was my mother. u think DPP side w u? LOL .... we did the CSI photos and measure in accordance as how engineers do detail site visit and detailed it in standard SG GOVT reporting format and pass it to judge on our own accord .

we even took photos to show, along the shared path, there was numerous sign board and was clear enough, not to speed. it was proven w onsite photo on that fateful day and as well as using google maps. judge says ok supoorting evidence taken in

ahhhh icic the photos on the illegal modifications were not admissible because is not the relevant authorities, they would be deemed to be exercising discretion beyond their legal boundaries if not wrong.

Curious if it went to trial or was it decided at summary? Was the triable matters pertaining to the liabilities?

it went onto extended trial. becos we prove that it was also illegal modification
so CID took it, paperwork "lost" they pass on to LTA. LTA says, no TP papers leh cannot release for photo taking, no papers no idea where it is....

that's where family friend help. he roughly know who is the PIC and located the PMD

heng on that day, we din go hosp Immediately . we all went take photos first . prove it was a good clear skies day and so on. police bo huey. u try to take photos collect evdience also cannot. in the end their own version of photos was bad and insufficient

edit: it was this incident, i realise in singapore, law isnt on the side for commoners. the people trusted the system... in the end the poor victim need to prove themselves instead?
