Alot of places all will converge n no separation alr.
Shld make a no riding zone ard tis places. But some ppl wun care also la.
No riding zone dun make sense de.
If for example, u make a section no riding zone, then what happen is (already happening actually) is that your cyclist groups is gonna take note, share it among community then cyclists either avoid the area totally or they go to the other side where they can ride without the sign, even if it means have ppl.
Context is for those with town centres etc etc.
Currently now some area already have TP cams mostly for PMDs but as PMDs are supposed to be on shared path and pcns only, cyclists will end up getting captured also.
Which then comes to the next point, what's the point of building a shared path there THEN input the policy of policing cams etc and discouraging the targeted segment from using the said paths?
Additionally, with shared paths and pcns now within town centres, it make sense for EVERYONE, cyclists included, to slow down, take note of their surroundings and make sure you look before you cross a shared path/pcn. This is no diff from crossing the road and from things like carrying a tray of soup and u look behind and make sure nobody is there before u spin around etc.
I will agree errant cyclists make the group looks bad and some of them really deserve what's coming to them.
